Lol, I'm weighing possibilities for the next commission since our last one is almost done already. The only issue is that a lot of people are busy over the holidays and unlikely to involve themselves.
There is one plan I have in mind though.

So I took a title from the challenge list called "Quiz: Question-Free". This is an extremely difficult quiz to write, I am finding. I am 3 questions down, but it's tough.
It's a quiz that doesn't use a single question mark in it, but the quiz is all about the question mark. It makes it tricky to write a quiz about something not found within the quiz. lol.

Thanks, Snowman. I hope it works with the editor. It began as a mixed quiz, but I'm not sure where it will go now. If it's JUST about the question mark, it'll probably fit in humanities, but I might have other unique "questions" in there, too. Might have to go to thematic fun. Not sure until I finish the quiz. lol. I might need an editor's help for that one. :-)

lol, that's a good point, Row. I am not watching, I just happened to notice one day that my quiz went online about 6:00 FT time (5:00 for me), so I thought the next time when I went to check at about 5:10 my time that it would be there, and sure enough, it was just put online. lol.

We're spoilt lol - when the Editors put quizzes online fast, we get used to it, and then when we have to wait, we twitch, and as every author knows, an hour is like a week and a day is like a year waiting for our "babies to be born" lol. Let's twitch together Salami and share some nice choccy while we gnaw our nails and gnash our teeth... :-D

You're right, Row, we're definitely spoiled. I have a few categories I save for "yep, this'll go online pretty quickly, I won't have to wait long before submitting my OTHER quiz". ;-) lol. Of course, wait times always change. lol.

The ones that always frustrate me are the ones that say 1-2 days when you submit, then get a day longer each day. I don't know exactly how that estimate is created, but it certainly doesn't know about editors who don't visit that cetegory for a few days :(

Well, and Kyle has said it time and time again, one quiz can skew wait lines significantly. If editors are at a quandary with a single quiz, and it has been in the queue for two weeks, but every other quiz goes online within two days, it'll say 2-14 days, or even higher. You just never know.

Currently Im working on the "Megaman X" Series of games in backwards order. Ive gone from X8 down to X3 and im currently working on X2. After I finish the last two quizzes in the numbered X games, I may or may not make one on "Command Mission". Not sure what im doing after these though :S
