MyGirl2000: so this is going to be your first ever full quiz? Oh my! Watch out, you're likely to get addicted lol.
Don't forget that you can post questions in the forums, or here, or personal ones to an editor in your category long before you submit. Someone is BOUND to try to help, friendly bunch that they are. And don't worry if you end up with corrections to make (I assure you that it happens to EVERYone at some point). '
Best wishes! : )

I finally got around to making a template for a hsitory quiz I've been thinking about writing for ages now, so it might even get finished soon :-)

I'm managing to see some light at the end of the tunnel at work. Managing to come home without my brain feeling dulled and dead ... might start converting that pile of research that's happened spasmodically over the past month into some tangible quiz writing now.

Someone motivate me please? I need a nice energy raising pep-talk to get me going on doing something to the poor languishing templates :-D

Just think of all the new templates you won't feel guilty about making once you finish the old ones! ;)

Remember why you started a quiz on that topic in the first place, if that doesn't work, take the quiz in a new direction, maybe even adding a main topic that can mesh with the original.

Eat chocolate. It might not help you write the quiz, but you'll feel better.

And if it does help you write the quiz, all the better.

Write on a piece of paper the titles of all the templates you have started, and if it helps add any that you have been contemplating. Cut them up into separate bits, place in a hat and draw one out. (You can, of course, cheat and not include titles that actually repel you at the moment!) Then promise yourself a piece of chocolate (or a box, if that's the necessary incentive) for each pre-determined stage of writing that you reach. Alternatively, a glass of wine (but don't make the targets too easy - after the first ten glasses, your writing may suffer) or a half-hour to read the next bit of your current book that you never get time for, etc. can be the incentive.
Stages might include: identifying a focus for all ten questions; getting the questions into a sensible order; writing a full question, incluiding extra information; writing 5 questions, without any extra information; etc. Suitable targets depend on how you actually approach quiz writing.

Alternatively, take looney's pieces of paper, cut them into smaller pieces, one letter each and then draw them at random. See if that creates new questions for you - monkeys, typewriters, Shakespeare and all that.
I'm no use for motivational duties at the moment as I am struggling on the creative front myself right now.

I'm not sure how many editors would appreciate a surrealist quiz. But it's a nice idea - to write questions that have been jumbled by the monkeys, and see what they might have been to start with. Somewhere in Humanities (using familiar idiomatic expressions) or Brain Teasers, perhaps.

I considered writing a postmodern quiz, but I realized that I would only be using about three questions in the template, the questions would be in the info, and I'd be omitting punctuation.
It wouldn't go over well.

I've lost a question :-| I can remember what it is, and two of the answer options, and I KNOW it has to be in one of my quizzes somewhere, but I can't find it :-S I thought it might have been in a music quiz that I never finished and deleted, because one of my answers is a rock star, but the other answer isn't so I don't think that's where it went. It's not one of my single questions because I've just been through those, so I have no idea where it is. Someone attach intravenous chocolate in one arm and bourbon or a nice cup of tea in the other, and lay me in a darkened room for a while please. My head now hurts all the time, not just when I think, and this is going to drive me crazy until I work out where it's gone :-(

You can tell me all the info you know about the question and I can help you search. :-)

I will Salami - it's starting to look like I am going to have to go through quiz by quiz looking for it, it may even turn out to be a snippet of II, having started out as a Q and migrated, and since one option is a rock star, and one is a spaceman, it could be in just about any of my quizzes :-|
I'll send you a pm, and thank you, it is driving me insane!

I have just submitted a quiz that I am very proud of. I think it is one of the most original and most brilliant ideas for a quiz (and I thank Matthew_07 for the idea). I can't wait to see it online and to see how it is rated by the players. :-)
It's a movies quiz. ;-)
