Trying to work on two quizzes I should get done, also thinking about a third "brilliant idea" of mine...
Just realized, I have as many quizzes online as I have ratings on my very first quiz!

Need to finish my AinA quiz, but I'm stuck. Need to finish the challenges I'm signed up for: Christmas, Swing, and Bond.
Also have several quizzes that I half-started. Should try to complete those too!
But I have taken a break from writing for a few days, and I think I will rest another day or two before taking it up again. Definitely want to get the Christmas challenge done ASAP, though, so it will be seasonal! :-)

I'm aiming to finish 10 quizzes by the end of January - that would mean getting to #200 by my birthday. Continuing AiA quizzes will help with that, plus I have a couple challenges I still need to finish up (commission and 'back to school'). I also have some continuing quiz series on the go (Oscars, 2012 sports championships, Bible alphabetical, etc).

Author's Challenge "We Got Crunched!", title from Mariamir. This just so happens to be a general mix on the categories of the Time Crunches. Also for AA.

Working on several quizzes at once.
See the thread "Which forum/board?" for the challenges I'm facing in my "Eight Maids a-Milking" quiz for the 12 Days of Xmas challenge.
Also trying to finish an Author Challenge quiz -- which will also advance me [finally] in Adventures in Authoring if I ever finish it.
Also working on a quiz for the Entertainment Grab Bag subcategory as a relief from other the other quiz-writing that is frustrating me.

Sort of odd for me to make a quiz that doesn't fit any challenge (and with my luck it'll get sunnies I cannot count for pangalactic), so I'll post here.
Submitted a movies quiz that I am quite happy with. Hopefully the editor will agree. Look for it, coming soon!

I've started making myself go through a list of ideas I've had aside from any challenges. Kind of rewarding. :P

I've decided to work on a non-challenge quiz that is very seasonal, for the Christmas Movies subcategory. I don't want to give it away, but it involves various versions of an often-played movie. I guess that must get top priority since Xmas is nigh!!
And I'm working on a quiz that will go in U.S. Government in one of these subdirectories: U.S Presidents or Campaign & Elections or Presidential Trivia (this last I realize is restricted, so perhaps not that one).
But really I need to get back to the AinA quiz, especially since it is also an Author Challenge quiz. But it's for Sci/Tech, so I want to be sure I do it right the first time.
Also need to work quickly on the Herbs quiz and eventually get to Octopussy and the "swing" challenge. Whew!

I wish Entertainment had a Christmas Mixture in the TV & Movies Mixture section. Some of the movies I wanted to write about were TV movies, which means, I presume, they do not belong in the Movies categories. But only Movies has a Christams subcategory; Entertainment is lacking!

I've just gained the privilege to build crossword puzzles, so immediately after the New Year I shall be hitting those!

Gracious1, you could use the TV & Movies - Something in Common category for a Christmas-themed quiz, as there is a unifying theme. You don't have to have Christmas specified in the category.

I'm working on a Dr. Seuss quiz right now as part of the Adventures in Authoring challenge. I'm a little over half-way through.

I just want to note: SisterSeagull, it actually seems like anyone who's gotten twenty quizzes online has the privilege. This may be a coincidence, though. But I hope you do well on crafting your crosswords! Very fun, already have two online.
(And the best part? No Interesting Info!!! Well, that at least saves time.)

Superfan, the number of quizzes has nothing to do with crossword writing ability. I wasn't able to write them until at least 50, most likely it was far more than that, to be honest.

I find quiz-writing to be much easier and faster, regardless of info. Making a solid (and symmetrical) crossword can be mind-numbingly difficult.

Superfan & Salami: I got crossword writing ability when I had 14 quizzes online. I'm not sure what gives you that ability, but it's probably not the amount of quizzes.
I haven't made one yet though. As Kyle has said, it's very difficult.

Consistently submitting good and well written quizzes. :)
Yes, crosswords are far more difficult to make. I only have 26. If it was easy, I'd have 100 by now. ;)

With good planning, it's actually not as hard as it seems (at least for me). But congratulations for placing your first online, SisterSeagull!
