What's the best thing about being a citizen of the country in which you live, and what's the worst?

For my part, the best thing about being Canadian is that I'm never going to go bankrupt paying for my health care and the worst thing is -40 Celsius temperatures in winter which is balanced by +40 Celsius (with attendant humidity) in summer!

I think I would have to agree with Cymruambyth on the temperature change in Canada. After several long months of freezing to death in winter it's usually "come ON summer!"

Of course now that summer is here, and it happens to be 86F ( and rising) outside today I'm now saying "That's too hot" ....
