Apparently I'm on 29 wpm... oh well. I can still touch type, I just make a few mistakes. The is a hard word to write, it normally comes out as hte. So is out, it normally comes out as owt or uot.

116 wpm was my last official test. but with computers it is much easier now it's simply a matter of more of us are less careful and more typos go out. I am really a lot faster than that when i get really rocking on a paper or something.

I am reasonably fast, in spite of having to find the relevant keys and and use only 2 fingers.

I'm a fast typer, about 70wpm I think? It helps that we learnt to touch-type at school and I spend far too much time typing!

I'm a very slow typer. You know in those movies, when the computer gives a message to the protagonists, and it types it out really slowly, for dramatic effect? That's about how fast I type. I use a modified point and click method, basically just honed through years of use.

I'm a regressive reader and a slow one finger typer, but I have managed to win a few times at Fill Me In and even won a badge simply because I was the only one who answered all the questions correctly.

I would think that I'm a fast typer. On an online typing test, I can maintain a speed of about 120 WPM until the test gets to numbers and symbols in it. When numbers and symbols are added, I drop to 75 to 90 WPM, somewhere in there. If I don't have to type anything from the very top row (or if I'm not on this new keyboard that I got where the buttons are closer together than I'm used to), I can speed well above 120, if I'm on a roll. I am faster when I know exactly what I'm typing, if it's written on a piece of paper and I'm copying it or something, but I'm slower, like now, when I have to pause every once and a while to think of what I'm going to type. ;-) My dad thinks it is crazy that I can talk to him and still type a different sentence completely. :-)

Every now & then I'll have a real go at Fill me in but I'm not only slow but lousy at spelling unless I really think about it!

Fairly fast - sometimes wish I was a faster reader. If I try to skim the question I miss things and have to go back.

I 'Hunt and Peck" with two fingers while looking at the keyboard. Then at the screen to see my mistakes. Then correct them hopefully. Fill in the blank questions kill me, and I can't see me earning the 'Fill Me In' badge anytime in my future.
