I am not sure if being a team member makes it more fun to be on FT or if it isn't necessary. Your thoughts?

The old reply to thread function was removed because it got to the point where people weren't even reading the announcements and assuming, by default, that they were somehow being wronged or forgotten or insulted or abused or cheated out of something in some manner.

Good points RMG. Sometimes even real friends fall out over things, but with a will they can be sorted out. Yes, a team is important for most of us. Which one? Sometimes better the devils you know than the devils you don't...

rfcneil It isn't necessary but badges can be won on the team games.

Evil Sorcerer Being on a team gives you extra fun :)

You can play the team games and chat to your team mates on the message boards.

My team welcomes everyone on board who wants to have fun. We also have message board games, it's a little extra fun.

I enjoy being in a team.

Some people say that beauty…
Is only as deep as the skin.
When thinking of true beauty…
I think it’s found within.

It is true that there is beauty…
That is pleasing to the eyes.
Though through the years that beauty fades…
And it’s amazing how time flies.

If we live to be a ripe old age…
Our youthful looks will start to cease.
But the beauty that’s inside of us…
Has the potential to increase.

So when we think of beauty…
Let’s use a phrase from days of old.
Our eyes they can deceive us…
And all that glitters is not gold.

and that pretty much sums up the depth and beauty of my Team mates The Sizziloons! and they are all great looking on the outside too!

emeney3 I joined Mighty Warriors shortly after I came to funtrivia and later lol, ended up being team leader. I have to say that I really like being part of a team. More people to talk with for one lol. And we had a virtual party that was pretty fun. Especially with Last One Standing and Quiz and Conquer being gone now, being on a team gives you more room for visiting :)

Naw being on a team isn't important....unless you need people and people who need people are the luckiest people in the world ;-) (or something to that affect)

You know I had this feeling deep in my soul that I'd heard that line some where before? Thanks for being that very special person who reminded me ;-)

I love being on a team, it is boring without one. My old team, The Flakes, were very supportive and helpful while I was learning my way around here. They are a fun bunch of folks. I changed teams to have a smaller group to play with, and I really love Animal Farm. Now I have had the best of both worlds. Yeah!

I was in a team and I made some good friends there but I and others made some comments about not playing certain games. My beef was people that joined and didn't even introduce themselves on the team message board or even join in on the messasge board and one thing lead to another and the team broke up but I miss them and have not joined another one since.

I think being on a team is fine because you get to meet interesting people then you don't have to feel so alone on this wonderful web site!

I love my team, I'm not on a team just for the team games, I've made some great friends from around the world that I would never have known if I wasn't.

I joined a team after only a few days on and there are a few things I like about it (apart from getting a badge); the support from your fellow team members; playing in the team games; and just a nice place to have a chat when your brain needs a rest from all those quizzes. I for one recommend it.

I love being a part of a team.

In my real life...I'm the de facto leader of my department, so if I have a bad day, the dpartment suffers.

But here on FT, if I have a bad category or a bad quiz, there usually someone else that knows a topic better than I do, or has a great TvT quiz.

Redwallcrazy You don't have to be a member of a group, but it is good to. You can earn badges by being a member of a team which you can't do when your not a member. It is also good to feel like a part of a team.

Im with kels. My team are fantastic people. I have made some lifelong friends who really mean a lot to me (hope you warriors are reading this!) If only I could convince them to fly to Australia so we can beat the PTA moms in the school trivia night!
