You know, I don't think I really have any quiz-related New Year's resolutions this year! My main goal was to get a quiz online in every category, and I finished that off in 2009.
I suppose I can make a goal to get to 200 quizzes online in 2010, but I think I might be a bit far off, I often go months without getting any online, especially if I have to get a job soon ( :-( )
Maybe 175 quizzes by this time next year would be more attainable for me.

I have already said I will get a Humanities quiz online in 2010, so maybe I should resolve to get a religion quiz done too. It's the only thing I can see that will stop me getting a quiz in every category.
(Shakes head in disbelief) I can't believe I'm doing this! lol :)

In the nearly 8 years I've been on FunTrivia, I've averaged writing nearly 20 quizzes per year. If I can keep up that kind of pace next year, my 200th quiz will be online sometime in 2011. So my resolution is to get at least 20 quizzes online in 2010.

I remember an FT-related goal I have! (not related to quiz writing though..) Get 20 expert category wins! I've been sitting at 15 for quite awhile...

To get a quiz in to the sun-glasses category. 9 quizzes made, 8 on-line currently, no sun-glasses category quizzes
Mabye even to get and editors choice, althuogh that would be hard.

I'll aim to stick to my previously mentioned resolution to get a religion quiz written, even if all the ideas I had seem to go into other categories. Perhaps I'll include 15 categories as well (gulp). Well, resolutions are meant to be broken, aren't they?

Prolific Author - very easy: only one quiz needed.
Country Badge: easy.
Fifteen Categories: this might prove quite hard. After all, I've started with the categories that I know most of.

Hmmm, let's say 250 quizzes online... That's 75 quizzes, 365 days to do it... Pretty doable. ;-)
Daily Winner badge... The other two were retroactive, still haven't won my division yet!
6,000,000 points... That is an average of 3500 a day, starting tomorrow. I don't get as much on weekends, but during the week I can easily double or triple that, plus 2,000 points for each quiz... I think I can do it. ;-)
10,000 brains. I'm getting close.
20 expert wins - tough little sucker!
Level 125. I need more point levels and badge levels to do this... Only 4 away.

Okay - when I submit my commission 6 quiz in the last days of this year that will make 49 quizzes made in 2009. This will take me to 112 quizzes in total. I aim to step it up next year and am looking to get to 200 quizzes.

I am going to try and get 100 quizzes, 20 categories (only 6 more to go) and an editors choice badge(very hard). Should be lots of fun:)

To all of you looking to write more quizzes next year, there will be plenty of opportunities in terms of challenges as the months go on. Plus, we have a huge list of titles going strong (and a lot which have been there since July!).

Oooh, jonnowales, I thought I was being ambitious when I decided to shoot for 200 quizzes (which I'll probably fall well short of). I only have 41 quizzes to go (finished one today, just need to type it in and see how it goes). Good luck to you -- now I see what ambition is. :)
