I can speak three different languages. However, I prefer to speak English since I am a United States citizen.

I'm a US citizen and although I have a Chinese heritage, I am never that good in learning it. The local Chinese school is really poor. I just speak English. I do think the usefulness in being able to speak different languages and expressing yourselves in different cultures would depend on your ethnic group.

I tried to learn other languages - especially those of countries I was visiting.
I learned others were way smarter than me!
