Despite oil only going up around $20 ours has now reached almost the recent record, at £1.39 a litre. That's £6.31 a gallon, just over $10.

Couple days ago, but $3.86/gal, which is cheaper ten miles away than where we live, as is shopping, so I always gas up there. Around here it's been $3.94+, still a lot cheaper than Denmark.

That's Connecticut, btw. Gas is usually much cheaper in Jersey, where one is not permitted to pump one's own, but there are often waiting lines there. NY and CA always seem to be as high or higher. FL is lower.

Chicago consistently has the highest price in the contiguous 48 states. I paid $4.49 for bottom grade today.
