Subject: How much did you pay for Gas today?

The gas/petro had been trying to reach a high of $1.14 a litre,it succeeded today,usually it's about $1.08,Montreal,Canada,if I drive 40 kil .to border Ontario its less,same counrty,probaly came in same port of entry.

Still at 2.69 a gallon in Denver. I'm surprised it has stayed around this price for awhile now.Iwas up in the mountains over the weekend and paid 3.09 in Rangley,Colo.

Gas is $2.90 at the moment. I just heard earlier on the radio that it's suppose to go down by the end of Summer.

pmarney, I feel your post didn't get the recognition it deserved from those on the other side of the pond, so I did some rough maths and translations. :D

Petrol here is around £1.21 a litre.
A litre is around a quarter of an American gallon.

So we are paying about $7 a gallon.

You're absolutely right, Jabberwok.....we didn't appreciate pmarney's pain until you cleared up the conversion. I'd have to put my "yoti" in mothballs if gas (petrol) was $7.00/gal!
