I'll try a UAE politics quiz (for "World"). We'll see how it's received.

Umm, let's make that a UAE cultural quiz instead. There isn't much in the way of politics in a federal collection of seven absolute monarchies.

Sounds good - remember the Bus Ride visitors will mostly know next-to-nothing about the country, so will appreciate it more if it's easily researched :D

Just FYI - I am still doing the Chad and Georgia quizzes. Things have been super busy lately so they haven't been done just yet. Just a heads up!

Your choices have been noted. There is absolutely no rush on these quizzes - it is likely to be months before any changes are made to the list. I just like to know that we are working on getting some together for when the time comes.

Ok super cool. Just wanted to give you a heads up in case you were expecting them soon! I have 1 title challenge and 1 outstanding Author challenge title, with another coming with the Funtrivia Reading List! I'll get them done though!

Ah... I see someone else is doing Chad. I will take back my offer to do Chad and consider doing another country at a later date, perhaps.

Chad needs two more quizzes, if we are going to have a double set for rotation to keep things interesting. It currently has one quiz that needs replacing, and nothing better available. Nothing even suitable for the Fringe Tour, for which I took anything relevant to the specific country, even if it wasn't very good. So there are a lot worse things than getting two new quizzes!
The current Seychelles quiz is a good one, but, as Salami noted, I couldn't find a Fringe quiz for it, which means we need a second one for rotations. There's lots of scope for new quizzes :D

And the Seychelles quiz I am writing is very different to the current quiz, so even if it's not better, it's different. :-)

I think I'll work on something for Morocco in the next little while. ;)
There are some challenge titles posted to coincide with our latest Bus Ride effort if some players are so inclined. L_T will give the low-down on our next course of action. :)

You may have noticed that the top post has changed. We have been busy little beavers here in the Lounge, and every country now has at least one quiz that is ranked in the top third of all quizzes. (I except a few countries for which replacements have been promised, as I trust they will be appearing in due course.) While it would be fantastic to get every country represented by a quiz in the top 25,000, or even higher, the quizzes that are currently lowest-ranked are actually satisfactory quizzes. I think it's time to shift emphasis in our quiz writing, and try to get a second satisfactory quiz for every country. This will make it possible for regular rotations of the quizzes to keep the experience fresh.
Of course, all new quizzes that might be better for the tour than either of the current possibilities will be checked out! So if you would rather write a new quiz for Andorra, and see if you can produce something better than the two I currently have listed, go for it :D I will maintain my lists to show the current one and the best available alternative, so that quality continues to improve. There are a number of countries with a replacement quiz that currently ranks in the 25,000-50,000 range, and I would be happy to have alternatives for them, but feel it is more important to get every country in that position.
When a new quiz that looks like a suitable alternative quiz appears, that country will be removed from the list. Please note that the production of a quiz does not guarantee that it will be used - a few of the quizzes written to be replacements have not ranked in the top 50,000. If you think you have a quiz that should be considered, and I haven't posted here about its existence, please do so. But the country will remain on the list as needing an alternative until I am convinced that the quiz offered will meet the requirements. That is, it needs to inform tourists about the country we are visiting (geography, history, or culture); it needs to be pitched at a difficulty level so that most players will be able to get 5 out of 10 with reasonably straightforward research; it needs to rank in the top 50,000 (sunnies would be nice).
You also might already have a quiz for one of the countries that are not listed that you would like me to look at. I have found a lot of alternatives already, 118 of them to be precise, and have checked everything I could find in Geography, History, World and Hobbies (Food), but there may be gems hidden in subcategories that I didn't search. All offerings will be gratefully accepted for consideration!

Re: "I had a long list of them..."
-And many of those are not in the list of countries added into the first post. For the ones that are, L_T specifically noted that certain categories (People, Sports, etc.) aren't really great fits for the Bus Ride for different reason (in Post #623, I believe). Not every quiz suggested will necessarily be taken into account for the Bus Ride; as already noted, there are several different criteria at play determining which quizzes are in the current cycle and future cycles and it's difficult to pin them down until the quizzes are online and rated.
Besides, the more good quizzes, the merrier.
