Doctor has decided i should have more blood test on wednesday, and a xray when i get back from my trip and also a ultra sound scan of the heart. It explains a lot to me really.
If there was not a shortage of beds i think i would still be in hospital. I know from reading my notes that mt haemoglobin level is still low but higher then when i went into hospital, i did explain regards the b12 injections that were started and stopped abruptly so that will be kept a eye on as she can arrange b 12 jabs. |

Am feeling slightly better but still worried about things, especially the last news regards my heart being slightly enlarged am being careful what i eat at the moment, But will never go the whole hog as i cannot.
Is not good being how i am at the moment i know my friend in scotland is worried as is my mum and sister, I feel all the stress from my problems and what the Government intentions are for those on incapacity i will be better off in a box, as at the moment i seem to have lost my fighting instinct.
I know there are others worse then me and some that are not as bad as me. is weird how i miss the old guy with Dementia who was in the nxt bed to me spent a lot of time keeping a eye on him and talking to him. A nurse from a diferent ward was impressed how i was with him said is a shame others cant be like that. But was just sad to see a man like that 75 years old and former teacher and was in a way still able to show some of the old him if only briefly |

Another day and one where i have been feeling crap been sleeping on and off all day but have eaten cereal for breakfast, chicken pie peas and potato waffle for lunch and a banana for snack.
So doing my bet to turn things around, this has certainly been a wake up call, what i think i really need is a bowl of home made jewish penecillin, may give me the boost i need |

My day started early at 4am when i woke and could not get back to sleep eventually got up and a wash dressed and had a bowl of cereal about 7.30.
I was at the barbers at 8.30 for a much needed haircut and then went paid bills where i was told i looked very pale hope things not going backwards. |

Just tried re booking a appointment i need for a tube down my throat into stomach to be told they are not showing any avaialable appountments/
So have rung the Doctors see if she can sort |

Professor, I think your doctor has to set up an appointment for that. That procedure is considered to be a specialty here in the states and it requires an order from the doctor.

Honeybee the appoitment was intially made by my Doctor and was due the day after i was hospitalised, they refuse to see patients that are in hospital.
I had a letter asking me to make a appointment which i tried but to know avail. Thats why i did what was asked. Now my Doctor has to do it again so long drawn out process starts again. |

Very doubtful Honeybee as trip is just 9 days away and will take doctor at least 7 days thats working so saturday and sunday do not count so that leaves 7 days.
Would be good to get that and my ultra scan and xray done all in one day. |

Another 24 hours and my pin cushion of a arm will be drained of more blood for testing :S,Still it will mean just a week then before i get away for a break which might help away from the stress.
Must have used a pint in blood for testing i reckon still if it helps me all is good. Lesley missing you so much hope things are ok with you. |

Doctor rang me at 4:45 to say not to worry she will book the appt i need for the camera down stomach procedure just wanted to check my time away. |

Had the Blood tests done 20 minutes ago the nurse so helpful. With her my god you look so pale, told her dubious letting her take blood as last time she did i was in hospital for a week 2 days later.
She looked at screen said we need to get haemoglobine level up to at least 13.5 currently 9.2. discussed few points and know where we are heading. |

Sounds like anaemia to me Gary, I've seen it before and they need to see what's causing it now. The stomach inspection is certainly a good place to start and hope they get on with it. I'm not sure if you check into A&E it means you may get it done straight away but if they keep messing you around may be worth looking into. If it is anaemia they should track it down and not make all these excuses.

Thanks David is what I believe it is and if so they can sort but is just a case of going through the motions i believe.
It is just a pain really, i have had tests and more to come, the biggest worry is the enlarged organs eg Spleen and heart. I know how Jonathan must be feeling when Lesley has enlarged liver, is a worry but least she is in the right place to get sorted. |

| Julie been feeling light headed for a few weeks, forgot to ask about that will do though. So far so good no phone call from Doctor as yet, mind you last time i had test on monday and got call on weds/thurs, Going by that i will hear if needs either tomorrow or monday. |
