Yes, Lesley, I consider you as contrary too!
I also believe Professer is contrary as he introduced me to Trekkie.

Bad luck, Gary, but these tests are (cliché alert) a necessary evil. There are a lot of unpleasant experiences we may be tempted to wish upon our doctors, pregnancy and childbirth probably being top of the list, but it may not be very helpful. I'm guessing you didn't accept the "sedative"?
The best bit for me is when they've finished, and they take their camera back, and it's as though nothing's happened.
"An end to it all" sounds good, as long as the end comes in the form of accurate diagnosis and repair. Now people have woken up a bit, it sounds like you're not too far off.

What you said about neccesary evils is right Lesley still i hope thats all over with, Still have the chocolate teapot to see next thursday which should close my hospital stay is her follow up.
Then i have to await the results of not just my endoscope but theres results of my Electrocardiogram, and i need to find out if my enlarged organs have shrank to normal.
Hopefully then i can lay to rest this interlude. |

Was up at 6.30 washed dressed and ready to go was picked up at 7.30 for Asda even though we had agreed 7.45.
Still got shopping done and wifey on the checkout asked what was next show i am seeing my mum chipped in and said be christmas now as the november one we cant do.
Reminded me to ask my mum if she wanted the Tickets for john barrowman and hotel room take a friend with her, she is doing so so am happy to give her tickets and hotel room money spent ages back so not wanting reimbursing.
Friend in scotland booked my mums train tickets £24 return for her and £24 for her friend.
All is well with my mum i have some brownie points:)
Hands are causing me trouble and neck so will need to see if i can sort without going to the Doctor.
Hands etc could be stress from all these tests and not being given results,
Hope all my good friends are well, |

Up at 6.30? Argh! How do you do that? This morning I was still awake at 6.30! (Time for a few sleeping tablets, I think.)
Bit puzzled by reference to wifey on the till. Whose wifey? :| But brownie points are always good. :)
Stress can do horrible things to you. Hoping for a good outcome, the sooner the better.

Oh it's Scottish argot - that's a relief. I've only ever heard wifey used by insecure lesbians and control-freak husbands.
