wish this day would hurry up and end, been a dayfrom hell in someways, started off okish with a trip to see practice nurse for Asthma check, and mentioned to her regards the nurse i thought was poor. Said i do not want her to get into bother but and explained what occured, the practice nurse said she would not have got told off had she done what i suggested, seemingly i have now got the action thats desired for all patients the nurse who upset to 15/16 year odls hurt my arm taking blood will be spoken to and asked how they can all work together for the good of the patients, practice nurse also thanked me for speaking up for the nurse not wanting her to get bother.
I got home and postie was putting the CD i had on order thropugh my door LEs Miserables live 25th anniversary great cd am loving it, went to post my friend in scotlands copy could not find my wallet so thought about it and worked out what had happened, i got a bus to bus station as they were not answering phone driver did not charge me, which was good of him. Got to bus station and yes they found my wallet but would cost me 50p to get back. A disgrace is like blackmail have emailed the owners of stage coach in perth complaining about this andhave said i have arranged a tv interview in 48hours do point ouit what a rip off merchant they are. Unless I get my 50p back and was going to complain to the pokice as i think it is a criminal offence asking for money to return someoines property.
The only good thing is my faith in people has been restored as i got my wallet back with the cash and cards that were in it intact, in todays climate of hardship etc shows there are still honest people about. |

Got a nice letter from my Doctor informing me that i will be on B12 injections for life suggesting the first start in october, how ever as i had seen the practice nurse to check my asthma and she had mentioned the b12 and wven made my first appointment for it, a month later then Doctor suggested but not that bothered.
Discussion with the nurse i have found out intially i should have had 5 B12 injections before it goes 3 monthly ones and as i had only one whilst in hospital she is going to consult my doctor to see what should be done, I knew the 5 injecions thing just now have it confirmed, so why the second one was stopped and the subsequent others is now a issue to look into. Still i do not fancy becoming a pin cushion so will not push the issue. |

I think most people are honest, and it's good that it was an honest person who found your wallet, and the driver didn't charge you. Did you get a free journey home too? Hope so!
The rest is typical Stagecoach. I've waited ten minutes for them to answer, then been put on hold for ten minutes, and then been lied to. And it's them all over to take money off you for lost property. It's such a small amount they're really insulting themselves, but they shouldn't be charging at all. Whatever happened to customer service? [hollow laugh]
The sad thing about Stagecoach is that they are now big, powerful and ruthless enough to see off all and any opposition - and that's just what they do. Nasty company.
Is it not worth being a pin cushion if the B12 works?

I find it sad how everything these days is done to make extra money for the company.

Is been two days since i sent a email and not had a reply,Lesley had more luck then i did when she emailed on my behalf.
Am not to bothered that i did not get a reply and am very grateful for Lesley sticking up for me on the mater, it seems the norm these days though seemingly am waiting to hear from a friend who is a solicitor on the legality of it all.
Seem to have got over worse of the health probs for now so am a little happier. I trust my friends on FT are all well |

I only got an acknowledgment - hardly luck. I'll be interested to know what your solicitor friend makes of it. Knowing Stagecoach, they'll probably manage to slime out of it. They'll have some ready-made excuse, like they are entitled to take 50p towards extra admin costs, or rental on the lost property shoe-box.
Good to hear that your health and your morale are on the up.

Professer, good for you! I'm glad you are feeling better.
They charge for lost and found? Well, unless they advise people of the fact lost and found costs money (usually by posting signs), prior to something being lost, I believe they are out of luck.

Interesting. Liver problems can make you itch, and there are quite a lot of online articles about it. One of many:

Good luck - I hope you get a good answer.

I've just received (about an hour ago) an equally interesting reply from the Asst Ops Manager at the local office of Stagecoach. He starts off by greeting me as Mr, and acknowledging my email.
"In your email you state that your friend was charged 50p for the return i have checked with our lost property
and they have informed me that they do not charge for the return of lost property
they only ask for prove of ownership."
He also tells me that they have just had a new phone system installed, with a Bedford phone number. Really?
"I hope this as been of some help to you
"Regards"
Well actually no, it hasn't really! Perhaps they don't charge in Bedford? I'm pleased that they have reinstated the Bedford phone number, after making it very remote (Northampton or somewhere) for years, but the rest of it is a puzzle. Here is the relevant part of my answer to him:
"I have forwarded your email to my friend in Lincoln. Is it Bedford policy not to charge for the return of lost property, or national policy? If it's Stagecoach national policy, why did he give them 50 pence?"
Watch this space. :)

He wrote back - quickly! - and guessed that Gary left 50p as a thank you to the person who found the wallet. I have disabused him. It's just as likely that someone is saying "admin" and putting it in their pocket. There is no justification for different policies in different towns. IMHO.

| A hige thank you Lesley for your efforts, i do appreciate them so much just need to find out whats causing the itching the Doctor i had to see said is not Liver problems and just given me betnovate cream is not helping really just stopped halfway through typing as left hand itched and wss dripping blood over my keyboard. Will try this cream for a few days then try again with my normal doctor if i can get to see her. He states my liver showed ok last blood tests in august, also said the b12 levels were ok were down to 10.8 which was good but they were at 12 when in hospital. I am begining to wonder if the itching is down to my blood. |

| I am tired and totally washed out fed of getting the run around by poxy recepetionists at the doctors, i feel the time is coming that i go to A & E and when asked why i did not go to doctors say that the receptionist prevents me seeing Doctor of my choice. |

We've been to A&E a few times, because our GP hasn't really come up to scratch, or because he hasn't been there and the receptionist was scared to ask one of his colleagues to see me, and they have always been sympathetic. Now I come to think of it, it's only been in the last six years. Funny that.
Good luck at A&E! It's got to be better than fighting receptionists who forget that their job is to help, not hinger: or make judgments they're not qualified (or paid) to make.

Oh well saw my fav doctor and she has referred me to another doctor in the practice who specialises in Dermatolocial problems. Until monday i have some cream to put on after i wash while my skin is still wet and another cream to try to releievce the itch and a antihistamine, none of which seem to be working.
As this problem got worse after my blood transfusion am wondering if that is the problem and if it is what they can do to help.
Taking it easy today waiting for the gran prix.
Best wishes to Deunan, Lesley and David and all my other friends, |

"got worse after my blood transfusion" Now he tells us.
Definitely worth asking. I knew someone (my brother-in-law's ex-wife!) who had a blood transfusion and said she was itching and giggling till they realised what they'd done and put it right. (That must have been a hell of a job.)
So that's yet one more possibility... Fun this. You'll have to write it all up afterwards, and publish it as a detective story.
