Good grief! Did they give you the wrong blood, Professer?
I'm around but not much.
You are here on the planet for the long haul. Someone has to keep it spinning.
We saw a license plate yesterday...loved it...it was...bolxs. I wish I had thought of it but then again plates are too expensive for the regular ones...the "fancy" ones are more so.
Found any oatmeal soap yet, Professer?
Hugs and more hugs.

I'm sure you'll be kicking for a long time yet, especially now your good GP is on your case. And what's wrong with looking at all angles? It's a very useful alternative to expecting your GP to remember everything.

He/she may be good, but nobody's perfect-and let's not forget that doctors are busier than they ever have been. (Anything we patients can do to make our present situation better is a good thing, and in the end our GPs
will thank us for being vigilant and asking questions!)

"The extra strength Betnovate..."
Aha - there's a common problem - the GP who prescribes entry-level meds to tackle a problem that needs a sledgehammer. Thank goodness you got something that works!

Cannot believe has been six days since i last blogged on here,Is really had little to say if truth be told.
I now have my train tkts for my xmas trip to scotland all the presents for xmas are near enough sorted just my mums to get to be honest. Is amazing that i have sorted things out feeling as up and down and rotten but needed to be done, even looking at making a will this month as i can make a basic will for free at some solicitors. After the probl;ems health wise this year i feel it is a wise move. |

Most of us haven't got much to write about... but we still do!
Making a will is probably sensible (that's why I haven't done one) but I hope yours lies around getting dusty and curled up and brown round the edges long before anyone needs to read it.

Gary, it's always best to have a will even if you feel in the peak of health. That way, it's off your mind and you can focus on other things.
Keep posting. I look forward to reading your words...each and everyone of them.

The traditional will is important, of course, and so is the Living Will, by means of which one can express his or her wishes about life-prolonging treatments at the inevitable, inexorable end of life. I'm not sure whether you have that provision in the UK, though.
It may be a good sign that you're not posting so much these days if it means you feel more like getting out and about. Best wishes, Gary!

Yes, we've got that here too. A friend who works in a GP's surgery said she was asked to provide some DNR forms for a local old people's home. So, not only is it very well recognised, it's even enshrined in NHS literature.
So is the Birth Plan, although I've never known anyone whose experience matched their plan. I wrote what I'd like to happen, but only if it could. If it couldn't happen like that, that would be OK too. Just as well, really. :)

Gary, are you tempted to do with yours what I did with mine? No, not kill, however much we want to: to change practices?
