A huge amount of work has gone into them, and we have about a week to save them for posterity, before Terry finally does what he's been quietly planning for the last three years. Where is IQ when you need her?

| David if you were still moderator maybe you could save the blogs for prosperity. As has been pointed out a lot of work went into them. Yours especially with the Global warming details that is so intresting. |

Thanks, sherry, but it was an ever-so-slightly rhetorical question. I shall attempt to rephrase it: "We shall never see her like again."

Gary, I had a cheese omelette earlier and it was unctuous and delicious and I don't know how I have gone so long without one. Thank you for reminding me!

All right there, Gary!
I've had wee read, so can tell you've had your ups and downs:-(
I don't think trojan was intending to be nasty, just sharing (in his own special way) his own ways of coping with the down-times. Advice and support can come in a variety of wrapping papers, but the true gift inside...is that people care, eh? xox
I'm off to go send you an email myself. I see you've had probs with that and would hate to lose contact. You're on Facebook?! Shine on you crazy diamond lol!
Life downunder: Donkeys running the country. Freezing my tits off. Too cold to shave my legs. We smashed Ireland in the Rugby last night. Aussies are still rubbish at ALL sports; including Tiddlywinks. I've survived (not enjoyed) my child's teenage years and I now know from experience that what doesn't kill you makes you stronger really IS true. The Japanese Embassy won't return my calls and there's a funny clicking noise on my phone lol:-) I'm trying to annoy the pro-whalers but so far have only succeeded in annoying Lesley (in a nice way I hope!) and I never said that you can't eat insects!...... :-)
Sail through the seasons and the changing tides with a smile, dude.... makes people wonder!
Much Arohanui Prof (....and Lesley as she's holding a dirty great big shovel and a liddle iddy-biddy kitten hehehe)
Po xox

Gary, the mods just keep order and look after lost sheep. Only Terry decides what happens on the site- and with all those mods I don't think they'd all agree anyway. Nice idea though but the roles are pretty specific there.

Poneke, when did you annoy me? Sorry, I must have blinked and missed it. What's that - behave or the kitten gets it?
Lady, Gary? Thank you! :D
I'm saving my blogs, complete with yards of comments, into a word-processing-type file. I had no idea there would be so much enjoyment in reading about things I'd forgotten about, and people's responses to them.

Make sure you not only turn off but unplug, Professer.
A close lightning hit near a phone line will be enough to fry a modem or computer power supply even if turned off.
Can run straight down the mains power at times.
We use a protected powerboard the phone line and the computer runs through, which is okay for normal surges etc, but then there's only one plug for the lot if a storm threatens.

I'm also enjoying my Post for Comment. :)
So much history for what at times was simply a rant, and those nice warming visits. :)

Not allowed to envisage dark gloomy places Professer - only bright sunny ones.
Helps you to bounce out of the hole you think you may fall into. :)
I've Been there - still doing it.
Grab a hand any time you need a tug - or I'll send on a poke, in the friendliest way. :)

No, you're not ready for the dark and gloomy place.
Company is always good but so is John Barrowman, with or without company. What's to stop you going to see him anyway?
OK. Just sell the tickets.
