The old reply to thread function was removed because it got to the point where people weren't even reading the announcements and assuming, by default, that they were somehow being wronged or forgotten or insulted or abused or cheated out of something in some manner.

My aches and pains and frustration at the inferance by this nasty governemnt that everyone on long term sick are scroungers and that doctors are liars they do not know their patients health.

And no nothing sorted really but at the moment am more relaxed so pains are not as intense but they are building up again.

A warm day here again today, was so nice after the rain yesterday cooled everything down and made it bearable, Is not good whne decent people are Ill like Rowena, it always seems the good ones suffer while the bad ones do not.

I sincerely hope Rowena will soon be back fit and healthy.

Another bad night the pains in my hands and feet were bad and i even did what was suggested took 2 oain killers 2 hours before bed and 2 more when i got into bed.

The rent a mob have done yet more untold damage in the capital and else where, to me it seems well orchestrated and paid for i maybe wrong but thats how i see things, the so called protesters are not protesting as such just out to cause damage.

Have a friend living nearby and she is worried sick it will head her way before long.

It seems the Lib Cons are to debate the system used to remove people off sickness benefits and look for a fairer less stressful way to proceed, believe that when i see it happen.

Life can be creul at times, a facebook friend who has mental health problems was being ignored by the powers to be, another friend spoke with me about it and as she works in the mental health system, i suggested she get him the help he needed, which she has done.

Hopefully the friend will now turn the corner but is bad what you have to do to get someone the helpand care they need.

lesley153 You could well be right about the planning. We've seen it in football, and it's not much of a step from orchestrated football violence to orchestrated burning and theft.

I think we've responded well, with the courts working through the night, giving people prison sentences for offences that would normally earn a slap on the wrist, go home and behave. And very pleased to see that Call Me Dave has spoken up against face masks. Good! All he's got to do now is follow it through.

Hmmm - it's also a vindication for all the CCTV we've got - cue Twilight Zone music.

Yes, you often have to jump through too many hoops, and yet the myth persists that doctors know what they're doing. Often they don't realise what's in front of them till it bites them on the nose. I'm glad you were able to encourage your friend to get help.

Yes Lesley we have seen it before under Thatcher as well at Soccer grounds, With opinion polls showing support for the Governemnt waning something was needed to divert the attention of us at the inept way the chancellor is running the finances.

Look back 20odd years and Thatchers was as popular as a dose of clap, the Argentians invaded the Falklands and Thatcher took us to war, we reclaimed the falklands and the country's ills seemed forgotten.

Call me a Cynic if you like but has the Government orchestrated this?

lesley153 You never know. Whenever anything big happens, I generally wonder who wants to take our minds off something even bigger. Or when a tabloid goes mad because someone smacked a donkey somewhere on a European beach, I wonder what genuine atrocities they want to distract us from.

Funny how there are still people saying "say what you like about Mrs Thatcher" (I'd better not), "but she stuck to her guns" (and that's what, a good thing?), "and we need someone like her running the country again." Do we really!

I will say what i feel, what happened with the riots goes back to what she did when in power, she divided the nation into have and have nots.

One thing she did was to fiddle the unemployment figures by telling people to sign on the sick if they had a ba back etc. This saw the rise in incapacity benefit climants as people realised they would be better off on it.

Now the genuine sick are payiong the price.

Early start to today and got the shopping i wanted at Asda after 6 months of rip off sainsburys amd back using asda.

Fed up with the pains in hands and feet, mind found that at night they are not so bad when i wera my fagin gloves, but not keen wearing gloves to bed.

Am paying a bill for my mum when it comes in as thanks to a greedy niece my mum is over stretched, My niece came up with a scheme to make money selling off my mums cds she does not play, have told my mum not to do that as she will not get what they are worth. I am not well off myself but lucky enough this is a five monday month and i work and pay bills on a 4 week month so have a bit extra and did save £150 from my holiday.

Said to my mum least i can do to help her.

Fagin gloves? Aren't those the ones without complete fingers?

They are rather fetching, Professer.

I will be wearing a shrug this winter. It's the only way to remain comfortable.

lesley153 I missed the post about the niece and Someone Else's CDs. How did that work - was the niece planning to keep a "small percentage for her trouble"?

lesley153 That's lovely, and I'm sure it will lift her spirits. How do you get rid of a relative who's no more than a leech?

What a day, can things get worse, did my shop at asda was sat at my mums and she nipped to get niece who was getting her gcse results 8 C's not bad.

Was told hurry up off to get something to eat said i did not want to go, mum not pleased niece grinning like cheshire cat, is hard at moment for mum so did not want to take the michael.

Leant over to pick the cushion up and put back on chair before coming home was hit with the worse pain i have ever had, my middle finger was bent right back flat on the palm of my hand and would not go back to normal. So i used my other hand to straighten finger and pain was still bad.

7 pm my mum rings and shes been diagnosed as diabetic so need to help get her straight there.

both hands are killing me and i hope i have not done more harm then good with finger, a lives worker who was dishing leaflets out in sainsburys looked at it said i probably dislocated my foinger but seems ok now.

Bloody awful day here been raining non stop since midnight, had to happen as my Niece is at graapvine religous camp this weekend.

Been on phone checking out options for my mum if it turns out she is diabetic, she can get a machine free from her doctors the needles and strips, so when i can get hold of her be one less thing to worry about.

hand where i dislocated finger feels sore still but i am breathing so not worrying.
