The old reply to thread function was removed because it got to the point where people weren't even reading the announcements and assuming, by default, that they were somehow being wronged or forgotten or insulted or abused or cheated out of something in some manner.

trojan11 For him, yes, certainly.

Scooters and the destruction of waddling children. A vile and sadistic suggestion, that I might enjoy it. Actually, tried it and hated it....the cleaning off of the front grill was tiresome for staff; and these days they have DNA testing for various remains found on offending vehicle.

PS. Not to mention the facial imprints left on the soft tyres.
A dead give away, so to speak.

lesley153 For him? That's good to know.

Shall we leave the scooter and go back for a rethink? I rather like the idea of a sedan chair. Does that appeal?

lesley153 More to the point, do you think Gary would enjoy being carried around, by four big strong men who could carry his shopping too? He could look down and wave regally as he glided from shop to shop. I think I want one!

Not keen on scooters or sedan chairs Lesley, just keep plodding along thats the wat forward.

lesley153 I'll have the sedan chair then. Any colour but pink.

lesley153 (I won't be able to pick off unattended children, but I'll still be able to do the regal waving bit.)

Wikepedia has an interesting artical about foot drop. It covers different causes and some remedies.

Sorry, article.

Honeybee have seen 3 different specialists in the field all who say there is nothing they can do as my drop foot was left untreated far to long.

But you are right regards the article.

lesley153 The "Treatment" section in the Wiki article begins:
"The underlying disorder must be treated."
Do you know what the underlying disorder is? and why was it "left untreated"?

How about the specialists - were they specialists in the right field? And what's to stop you trying some gentle exercises for yourself?

There's a wealth of information about. Here are a few articles...

Sorry, I don't believe in giving up just because people tell me to - and I didn't think you did either.
