Not that I want to make you think about it, but which one is it?

The Progressive Insurance ads which feature "Flo" are so light-saturated that it's almost painful to watch them. To 'add insult to injury' (yep, pun intended), "Flo" has been airbrushed more than a covergirl with a bad case of acne. Hot?? Who knows???

She is also annoyingly perky! I'm more tired of seeing her than of the Gecko, and before him the Taco Bell dog. Cute only goes so far before it turns to irritating.

Cars and car insurance ads seem to dominate the airwaves; disclaimers involuntarily added to drug ads have become almost comical in that the possible side effects may be worse than the condition they supposedly treat. One of the best ads ever for a car was where a wolf, then some birds and others hop in the car that's driving along and sing along to the tune.

Alexis, I agree with you on posts #83 and #84. Syrupy-cute gets annoying quickly. As for the drug commercials, my friends and I have discussed the same thing....how we'd rather put up with our 'aches & pains' than dabble with side effects.

Here in Florida, we're also deluged with ads from attorneys who are trying to add to their client rosters in class-action lawsuits against pharmaceutical companies. It makes me gag, watching these vultures trying to convince the general public that they give a sh_ _, when in reality it's all about lining the pockets of the legal beagles.

crotalus77 This J.G. Wentworth ad has been going on for about three years. I see it 20 times a day. It has become a serious earworm at times.

All the Pharmamedical companies with their "Ask your Doctor" if this drug is right for you...side effects include nose bleeds...hearing loss, loss of sight, tremors that become permanent...possible heart failure...cancer. high blood pressure...low blood pressure...no blood pressure...hair loss...loss of taste...loss of bowel control...a stiffy lasting more than four hours will cause permanent damage...I think I would rather stay safely sick.

The new State Farm adds are creepy. Don't get me started with the Allstate mayhem ones.

We have one here in UK for double glazing (I think), in all honesty I'm not 100% certain as I mute the TV whenever it appears. There is a dishevelled looking guy SHOUTING to advertise his wares, and rather than encourage me to buy it does quite the opposite!

Sprink1234 Don't know if I hate it the most, but Chevrolet has one with guys in a truck trying to find a place with no cell phone service before they camp.

Here's a concept... turn the phone off.

sasha67 There are a couple I cant stand and change the channel. First is the one for Honda where the kids and parents are doing an a capella version of Crazy Train( like these kids would know who Ozzy is if he walked up and bit them) and the other is the hair color commercial with Tina Fey. She is so annoying and so NOT funny.

The ad for Totino's Pizza Rolls: Teen phones mom to whine to her that he's 'dying'. She tells him that he's just hungry and that there are Totino's Pizza Rolls in the freezer. He opens the freezer door, there are only 3 products in there....and he can't FIND the pizza rolls! Mom (still on the phone) has to direct him to the box. Then the little moron leaves the cell phone in the freezer!

I am really annoyed by seeing one of my favourite actresses (Dawn French)pushing a supermarket chain .. a chain who specialises in moving into a shopping centre and putting smaller retailers out of business, and who, despite their Australian ownership, buys cheap overseas produce.
Sorry, Dawn.. you are no longer going to be chosen to play me when they make a movie about me !!!
