I'm just popping in for a minute to say hello, and to let you know I'll be back, hijacking RJ's blog again, as soon as I can.
My Tulo is home. More on this later, too.
I miss you guys!
Jazzie, I haven't forgotten you and my numerous ideas for getting you registered and playing in our Public/Private Team Tournies, I promise!

Me, too-and how many times do I have to tell you I do *not* think *ever* that you forgot about me (or anything). You just happen to be busy (hell, so is everybody else). [At least *you* weren't on the phone with Verizon for the better part of a day!]

RJ said, awhile back:
Texas Tawk
aggravated
used to describe everything from mild annoyance to dangerous, murderous rage. Usually pronounced "agger-vated."
all swole up
an alternative to aggravated, but sometimes carries connotations of being obstinate, proud and self-abosorbed, in addition to being aggravated.
------------------------------------
Refresh my memory -- have I conjugated the word/verb/whatever it is "y'all" yet? I learned this not only from a Texan, but from a Texan from Houston! I can't recall if I've already done this, though. Does anyone else remember?
It's important, so if I haven't, I need to do this to make sure RJ approves!

And I know I haven't told the enticing yet endearing story of "The Day The Sheep Blew Up." That's a must, too.
I'm trying to get caught up here after being gone for what feels like years.

My Tulo does seem to be much better today. He made a huge turnaround again yesterday, and he goes in for bloodwork tomorrow, although I'm honestly not relying too much on bloodwork numbers right now. I'm paying attention to how he's doing, since I know him like the back of my very own paw. Thank you to all of you for your well wishes. He's a little love, and he deserved and deserves my commitment to his health and well-being. This has been the scariest few weeks of my life, but I fully believe he is going to be completely well. It is so heartbreaking and terrifying when someone you love so much, like your little kitty (or your child or your niece) is injured or ill.

| Good to see you back, Blacky. I'm pretty useless when my dogs get very ill, so I know what you are going through. What is the age of Tulo? |

It's great to be back, RJ, and thanks! How are all y'all?
Tulo and his brother, Tory, will be three years old on April 1st, I think. I took them to the Vet two days after I brought them home as tiny babies, and she guessed their age based on their baby teeth. We both hoped they were at least 8 weeks old when I got them, but we weren't sure. They were SO tiny.
I need to get a photo of Tulo up as my avatar for awhile, I think. He's my Miracle Kitty. And yes, sick dogs are also just so sad and heartbreaking. I think dogs might get sick more than cats, too. It's so hard, I know. My kitties are both indoor kitties, so they aren't out there in the big, wide world and avoid all kinds of hazards.
April 1st is also the Rockies' first official game, or at least their first official home game, so I'm hoping for party hats and baseball caps all around at my house! And maybe a cake made out of... well, maybe not. I suppose Mouse Birthday Cake is out of the question.
You look mighty relaxed and chillin' in that photo, RJ. A vacationing photo? Where is that, and is that a bosun's whistle around your neck? I've always wanted one of those! I wonder if I can buy one in Ebay?
~Elle (aka Blackie and now Blacky, I guess! "Blacky"?? Where did that come from? hahaha!)

Elle, has anyone ever called you "Dresssy"? And, hi! I've missed your anecdotes, and now I'm looking forward to your "oveja que explota" story!

Hi Loch! I've missed you, too!
Actually, one of my dearest friends on the planet calls me "Miss Dressie" and always has! We're friends who met online a long time ago in another galaxy, she was our original team leader, and while Miss Dressie isn't my real name, I've always called her Pearlie Mae, although that's not her real name, either. Even on the phone, we call each other Dressie and Pearlie. I can't even imagine calling her by her real name.
I have another friend on our team who has been a friend for years and years, and he calls me "Dress" and always has.
Another of our teammates sometimes refers to me as "Miss Dress."
Oh! And another of my teammates calls me "Blackie!" And now RJ is calling me Blacky, so I suppose I'll answer to just about anything.
I added that extra S to Blackdresss since LittleBlackDress was too long for a name, although it's the name I have always used everywhere else, but usually spelled "Little Black Dress" with spaces, LBD was taken, I think, and so was every variation of Black Dress and Blackdress I could think of. So, I just added another S, making my name a tad "hissy" but it allowed me to get registered so I could play.
If you want to call me Dresssy, go ahead! I'd love to hear you actually say it, since it would definitely sound a little "hissy," don't you think?

Okay, then, with your kind permission, I'm going to--add... dress! :)
I'm glad you like the avatar; it has great personal significance for me.
Welcome back, Dresssita!

When I was in the TCU (Transitional Care Unit) one of the nurses, and then my roommate's son, called me "Staymie".
One of the ladies in the building where I live once called me Jimmy. She was embarrassed afterword, but I just said, "I'll answer to anything-so long as it's not "Hey you!"
My Mother and one or two friends call me Jaymes.
Another friend calls me Jubilee.
I once had a teacher who addressed me by my last name (he did that to everyone-calling students by their last names, and not even "Miss..." just "Strickler" or "Kutler" or whoever he wanted to call on.
My great uncle (and one of my pen pals) calls me "Kissy Face," and here and in my email I'm Jazmee or Jaz or Jazzy. So...

RJ! Dang it! When I went to bed yesterday, I was in first play in my Divn/Grouping in The Daily Game, and I really wanted that badge!
I came back just now to look, and who beat me? YOU did!
So okay, congratulations and all that, but... Nah, no buts. You beat me fair and square (or fairly and squarely) but I was so excited about potentially winning that badge! Conflabbin' dammit! (Can I say that in here?)

Suuuuuure you will!
You haven't answered my question yet about where you're doing all that lounging in your current avatar photo (that one I could let fly on by, though, if it seems too personal, but I'd still like to know) or if that is a bosun's whistle around your neck! (that one I really do want to know, since I want one!)
But in other unrelated news, I won the Smart Hourly Game last hour in Music and have a new badge. Who knew??

P.S.
And I don't mean off to the side. I mean right down the front of your shirt. It looks like a bosun's whistle in the photo, but it may just be part of the shirt. Or, I may need those pink glasses our pretty little pig wears in our Public Team Tourney. (But what is that thing off to the side?)
