The old reply to thread function was removed because it got to the point where people weren't even reading the announcements and assuming, by default, that they were somehow being wronged or forgotten or insulted or abused or cheated out of something in some manner.

(who gets to say my answer(s) are wrong?)

Me for one ;-)

If you like music you like math. Music is just more subtle way of experiencing numbers but without the dissonance of math anxiety.

I don't like math either (although I seem to be somewhat good at the subject [I just flatout don't have the patience {but I can appreciate certain aspects, as they help me keep time when playing the piano}])

RJ, sadly, you're right. Everything is math.

I prefer to think of music as another language, and not an easy one to learn to read, either.

Yow, I am so tired...

If I don't see you in the future, I'll see you in the pasture!

Okay, it's way too quiet here. What's up with that?

Jazzy, I haven't forgotten "we," as in "all of us," need to figure out a way to get you into the Public Tourneys, and I have a lot of ideas for making that work. I think we should talk about it in here, so we can all bat those ideas about until we come up with one or two or three that will work for you and make you the most comfortable, too.

Also, I really am going to tell my 'Sploding Sheep Story, but it's going to be LONG, and LONG worries me a bit. First of all, will anyone actually read it? And secondly, it really does feel like I hijacked this blog when I get "wordy." And I'm always wordy!

What is highjack but a word? And as to who'd read your story, I would, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. Oh, and you're not the only one who gets wordy. I have the tendency to, though most of the time I can curb it (unless I have a very profound thought, or nothing less than a wordy explanation would make sense [as is the case with my fiction {another time I get wordy is when I'm really passionate about something}])...

By the way, what's so bad with quiet? "Silence is golden" as the saying goes...

I'd also read it :) As for hi-jacking - sometimes it's a good thing ;)

Now that we have hijacked this blog...who's next?

(sneaks a peanut butter & ketchup sandwich into RJ's frig)

I'm about to explode from curiosity. Why don't you tell the exploding sheep story in installments? I'll bring the Rack of Lamb and beer.

*please any PETA, vegetarians etc. hold your comments to the end*

Hmmmm... A Serial Sheep Story. That could be interesting, but this is a story that needs to be told in its entirety, I think, for full, exploding flavor.

I'll write it later. I know it will just come flooding out of me, since I remember it like it was yesterday. I only wish I had video to back it up.

I'm thinking we can for go that. This isn't Ripley's.

There you have it. Stay tuned to the 'splodin sheep by Blackdresss.

Will we ever get this story? The build up has been going on for months!

Your guess is as good is mine, Ian. One can only speculate.

If we don't hear this story soon... let's just say "no good can come from that"

Yes, yes, hand over my pure as the driven snow heart, I am just about to begin writing this story, and believe me, it will FLOW out of my fingertips.

I remember it like it was yesterday. I can even still recall the scents and how hot it was that day.

RJ, bring enough rack of lamb for all of us, and a LOT of beer, and maybe we can even sit by a bonfire. I don't have photos of this particular story, but I do have a LOT of "Life On The Ranch Is Never Laid Back" photos. I just may have to make some of them avatars to show them to you.

You ever been Snipe hunting?

Well I'll start the exploding sheep story. At least, I'll get it primed up for Elle. It's her story you know and everything you are about to read happened more or less. It was like so, but not entirely so. It's A tale about a sheep but it's hard to discern exactly where it began and even harder to know exactly when it will end; so I chose, arbitrarily, that one moment of experience from which to look back or from which to look ahead. Time after all is not a unilateral progression along a line, but a dimension.
T'was a beautiful spring day in the high pasture just above the Snake River. A Ewe, clearly in distress, bleated horrible from somewhere up a head.....

"You ever been Snipe hunting?"
Don't even know what a snipe is (I know, either I'm sheltered, or I'm living in a cave somewhere)
