I sent Salami a note, but his profile says last seen on Nov 23. Could be he's travelling in light of the Thanksgiving holiday in the U.S. I don't mind waiting (and I really DO want to know who the mystery person is lol), but if everyone else thinks we should move on, then that's okay too.

I don't know what reasons editors have for closing down boards, I just know that they do and if we want to continue to play this thread, we must start a new one as per that message

Well, as a founder of this thread I feel the responsibility to answer. It was me who asked RMG to close this thread and start a new one with another name in the heading.
"Frailty, thy name is woman (Shakespeare")- it so happened that I felt insulted with answers to my update. As I said in Respose 4662, the updates have always been a part of this thread started much earlier than most players appeared on FT, but noone said, that the names can´t repeat. Some game, isn´t it?
Anyway, I (and not only me) made the update with some heart and effort. I expected "Thank you" or nothing. There was a thank you, but also some doubts. An answer was: "By posting this listing are you trying to say that if a person is listed we should not use them again? Who cares? Well, the "Who cares" made me quite angry.
I know there are much more important things than FT, but I seriously felt insulted as I take FT as my second home and I somehow feel that this is a safe page where people can´t insult each other. I don´t know if my feelings were legitimate or silly, now I don´t care, but you asked why this thread was going to be closed, so this is my answer.
I don´t demand any sorrys or thankyous, but use this as a time to consider the rules.
Updates or not?
One question a post or make it quicker with some info in a post?
And last question: Should the founder be a humble jolana or someone of you, English-speakers?

It would have been nice to know this instead of being told out of the blue to start another thread with no explanation. No one can read minds here. Funtrivia is home to a lot of us. Jolana you can start the new update with the name you want on it.

Honey, there is no need to start a new thread and I think that RMG will agree. All I want everyone is to show the tiniest respect to the elder members. (I don´t mean you.)
One thing I always admired in your, English-speaking countries is the ability to negotiate and agree.

When in the post you referred to above the comment Who cares? Was meant that if a name was repeated what difference would it make. Because of so many names and different people coming on how could we be expected to remember or know all the names already used. I meant no disrespect if that is how you are taking it.

I love the updates and if I am right, I think Jolana wants us to be able to include more than one question, such as, author, inventer, politition, etc, to make the game go faster. It is impossible to answer yes or no to the questions more than once because you are told, ignoring you have already posted that. If I am wrong Jolana, tell me.
