Have you seen the photo of him in wikipedia when he was a young man, Mommacat? He was somewhat of a hunk!

Oh, no, not me again. I have to go to bed. Dentist's appointment tomorrow. Oh, well, one more glass of wine won't kill me. Okay, dead Australian male (actually born in England).

I am old enough to have seen him as a young man without the benefit of Wikipedia :) And no, he did not turn me on I actually thought the monkey he acted with in a couple of films was better looking.

Creedy, you must have ESP! Yes, it's Breaker Morant. How you got that from so few clues is amazing. You're up.

It's Mendelssohn :)
(And ja, Mommacat, Richard Wagner was considered one of the great later German composers. I don't like his music one bit. He was sponsored by a "mad" king, Ludwig II of Bavaria - and he was Hitler's favourite composer. That's not why I don't like him though. I just think he was a self-seeking, conceited, ass)

And his music is revolting - all discords. It gives me a headache.

Sorry, but in that we differ as I like his music, I like dramatic music and that is why Ravel's Bolero is my all time favourite.

Well, that's the beauty of music. It strikes chords in every heart. I don't like Beethoven's music either. But Mendelssohn, Chopin, Mozart, Tschaikovsky etc - just out of this world

You found Der Ring des Nibelungen revolting? Oh dear, fans of "Apocalypse Now" might disagree with you lol. Quite "stirring", Ride of the Valkyries is (she said in her best Yoda voice lol).
Anyway, I guess I'm up.
so, I'm a dead American male. For the ladies, I was "sorta" good looking for a so-called "nerd".
