okay, dunno, I presume she's not an "actress" per se as someone should have guessed her by now. Maybe she's Sharon Osbourne?

Acting is part of her talents and to be honest I thought someone would have thought of her by now. She has written one book that I know of, and which I have, but she is not known as a prolific author.

Oops! forgot to say not Sharon O. As for Nigella, she is on two Ads we get on the TV with monotonous regularity and frankly she has achieved two things, she has turned me off Twinings tea and a certain brand of Yoghurt. :)

Right on Mike. Dawn it was. I think she is one of the best comediennes available at the moment. I loved her in "The Vicar of Dibley" and her book "Dear Fatty" raises a few chuckles.

I like Joanne Lumley too. Good actress. But Nigella I haven't got a clue about. I think she's a chef? Cooking and I disagree. I hate it. Watching a cooking show is the surest way possible to send me to sleep. I'd rather watch - shudder - football. No, no I take that back! I can't STAND football. For a moment I almost went over to the dark side there, whew.
I wish I liked it, but, alas no. Mommakat is an excellent chef though.

Wow! Great pick MommaKat - I thought that was going to be difficult!! I was indeed the great W.G. He was THE standout cricketer of the 19th century, playing first class cricket for 44 years. (I think the fitness standards were not what they are today!)

I have a confession to make, you are not going to believe this but I am at this moment reading a book written by a West Australian, Jim Leavesley titled "Not your ordinary Doctor" and it gives the autobiographies of famous and infamous doctors down through the centuries. It is very interesting and I highly recommend it. Secondly you will all find this uncanny but I am at this moment on the chapter about W.G. GRACE now is that a timely coincidence or not? It has taken my unawares so I will have to have a little think for the next half hour while FT is off the air and come up with someone.
