I really want to guess Valentino, but he was born too early lol. And btw, I rather like the word "futher" and I think it should be a real word (since that pretty much sums up the way I feel I'm in most of the time LOL!)

actually J. it is so cold here at the moment that my fingers are finding it hard to function. Valentino is not the man.
A further clue. This man was swallowed up in the Nazi purge against the Jews in World War II and is thought to have died in the Gas Chambers which was a sad loss for the world.

Further to that and to answer your latest query he was only 37 or 8 when he died.

Were you born in Poland perhaps?

No, not Poland. Born in small town of Davydivka in Austria-Hungary in 1904. Presumed to have died in 1942 in the gas chambers as was never heard of again once rounded up by the Nazis with a lot of other Jewish folk.

At last! Good one Nitram. Yes it was Joseph, a sad loss to the world of good music. I treasure the LP's of his that I own. Who can forget "A Star Fell From Heaven" or "My Song goes Round the World"?
Over to you. Who the heck are you?

Sad to say I've heard any of his recording, I'll look into it though.
Pioneering Inventor.

Were you Willis Carrier the inventor of air conditioning?

No, not Carrier. My invention isn't something that would be considered essential to everyday life. What I did was more of an improvement on something that already existed. My version of it became synonymous as a brand name in the same way as Kleenex did for tissue.

And to answer your previous question, probably none of the three. It's probably not something you'd have in your home, at least not to the extent of what's it mostly used.If you've ever gone to any kind of public performance you've most likely encountered it.

Don't know if this fellow is still alive or not but was it James Edward West co-inventor of the Foil Electret Microphone?
