I found this thread that was long forgotten.
Now that I'm proudly sitting upon 100 quizzes (and getting ready to write more), I'll give you an overview.

The other For Children was an Animorphs quiz from two years ago. Ignore it. And the Brain Teasers quiz... spoonerisms. But don't you think the harder a quiz is, the lower ratings it gets? Kinda noticed that, especially with brain teasers.

You are probably writing in categories where players do have an emotional reaction to a low score. In some, such as History, Geography, Humanities and Literature, many players are interested in learning something new from playing the quiz (which is why the editors expect more than a brief sentence of extra information), and even quite difficult quizzes can get very nice ratings if they are well written.

Two threads for this? I must admit that I am not at all surprised to see that I have not written a Video Game quiz, and somewhat surprised to see that I haven't written an Animals quiz. Both of those will have to be addressed in November!
