I see that you are still blaming the wrong people, Daver. Did Weis give up 35 points, including 21 in the 4th? Nope. Did Cassel? Again, that would be a big fat nope! In fact, Cassel and the Chiefs offense had a pretty good day. Blame someone else.

I guess you didn't see the game, Anton. What really cost us the game was just an incredibly bad pass interference call that led to a Texans touchdown. But the Chiefs were still ahead 31-28 with about 3:30 to go. All they needed was a first down to run out the clock. Jones and Charles both ran through Houston's defensive line like it was butter the entire game. It was third and two with two minutes and change. The Chiefs called a time out, and I could see what was coming. "Please, Lord," I said, "don't let them call a pass. Give it to Jones up the middle." But no. Cassel (or as I call him, Grbac's Ghost) threw an uncatchable ball and we were forced to punt.
The Chiefs might as well punt on first down; the three games we won, we won without any offensive to speak of. I repeat: 1) fire Weis 2) bench Cassel) and 3) run the ball!

Now you're blaming 35 points (I repeat...35 points) on one bad flag?

Oh, and you have a short memory too, Daver. When KC beat the 49ers, Cassel had a great game including three passing touchdowns, and the Chiefs smoked them offensively.

You must be Matt Cassel's love child, Anton. Type in "Cassel s*cks" on Yahoo. You'll get 124,000 hits.

If I didn't already expect the Jaguars to lose, I'd totally be angry right now.

Daver, I think you're a little confused. You said to, 1)Fire the head coach, 2)Bench the quarterback, 3) Run run run, then run some more.
As clear as Saran Wrap, you've just decribed the Dallas Cowboys.
Few see the real problem with the Cowboys. If they had an offensive line that could block in unison, they'd have a running game. If they had an offensive line that could block at all, then Romo would have time to throw. If they had an offensive line that didn't play at the high school level, then they wouldn't have 60 penalties as a team in only six games. Almost 500 penalty yards in six games?
Jerry more than deserves it, but not the fans.

For many years, the Chiefs had one of the best offensive lines in all of football. We went through a rebuilding phase, but now we have a good line again. Our defense is good, maybe a little weak in the secondary, our special teams excellent, and our running game superb. What don't we have? A quarterback! Brodie Croyle is no prize, but I'll take him over Matt Cassel any day.

In all fairness, the Cowboys had traded for an offensive tackle (Alex Barron I believe) who consistently ranks towards the top of the league in offensive line penalties. So the fact that the Rams let him go cheaply should have been a clue as to the cause for concern, which as you duly noted, has manifested itself in Dallas.
On the other hand, I hate the Cowboys so this is making my season. How bout them Boys now?

I hope the Packers can get it done this week. We are a bad team right now. With penalties, injuries, and lack of production in the second half. Mainly the 4th quarter. We have scored 77 points in the first half while allowing 44. We have out scored our opponents 44-13 in the 1st and only 33-31 in the second. In the second half we are even at 62-62. However 21 of the point are against the Bills who are in my opinion the worst team in the NFL. Take away that game the score is 41-62 in the second. We have done ok in the 3rd but have been outscored 24-46 in the 4th. In our last 4 game we have only scored 5 time in the second half. 3 touchdown and 2 field goals. One of the TDs was a pick 6 and one was with around 20 seconds to go. If we can't start scoring or holding a 4th quarter lead it will be a horrible season. At least we are still in it with a 3-3 start. I'm sorry for rambling on. And I'm sorry about complaning about the Packers when some people would be really happy abot a 3-3 start.

So how about that 59-14 win for the Raiders? Not to mention the Browns beating the Saints.

I'm happy the Packers didn't blow it again. I thought for sure Favre was going to throw a TD at the end when he fell and got back up. That is what he can do. Turn a dead play into something amazing. He did it many times in Green Bay.

I feel bad that we couldn't send 2 good/decent teams over to the UK to play. I'm surprised that anyone is going to go out of their way to watch a Broncos/49ers game.

I wish that there was a way that both teams could lose, but if nothing else, I'd rather get another opportunity to yell, "How bout them Boys now"
