First game of the NFL preseason is played tonight! What a beautiful time of year :D. Any predictions for the season? Anybody else love to play fantasy football?

Well, Anton, I have played a down or two, and I can tell you that the Chiefs have a better chance running 90% of the time, even if the defense puts ten men up front. Of course you have to pass once in a while to keep the defense honest, but you don't let a total mackerel like Cassel throw a pass when the game is on the line. You dance with what brung you. And the Chiefs are winning despite Weis, not because of him.

Chiefs, please draft Kellen Moore!

JBCizzle They might have to trade to get him.

They won't have to trade to get him. He will still be around by the time Kansas City's third pick is up. But, go ahead and waste that pick on a QB that won't make it in the NFL. lmao

He's bound to be better than Cassel. I am still bitter over the fact that the Chiefs had a chance to draft John Elway or Jim Kelly and took Todd Blackledge instead. What, pray tell, makes you think Moore can't cut in the NFL? He the best QB I've seen this year. Who would you take, Anton, Cam Newton?

The game that Moore plays at Boise is much different than the NFL. I can think of a number of college quarterbacks who were studs while in college and became duds in the NFL. It's a different game. I would not waste a precious draft pick on him, and I would not take Newton either. I wouldn't take Oregon QB either, in case you're wondering. If I had to a choose one off the top of my head, I'd take Mallett from Arkansas. He is who the Chiefs should trade up to get.

If the Chiefs went for Jon Kitna, that would be trading up. Broncos 21, Chiefs 0. Cassel at his incompetent best so far. Can't even throw the ball away to avoid a sack. What did Kansas City do to deserve this doofuss?

42-10? Really? I was watching Dallas at NY and switched to CBS. Wow. For me, my Bears had already won today, so it's been a good day for me.

Don't forget you guys could have had Dan Marino at where you guys picked Blackledge. On Elway, you would have had to trade for him. The Colts were bound and determined to take him with that first pick, which they did and traded him.

I just saw the end zones at Invesco. I really like the old-school diamond pattern.

Chiefs had no chance at Elway since he was drafted no.1 and they picked seventh. They could have had Kelly and a guy named Marino.

I never thought I would say this Brett, but the Vikings cheerleaders would have had a better game than you did.

Someone call the FBI. Someone has kidnapped Matt Cassel and replaced him with someone who can play quarterback. The Chiefs looked great today. Home, sweet, Arrowhead!

The Patriots wouldn't have drafted him if they thought he was useless, Daver.

Oh wow! The Colts had OT in their back pocket, and they blew it. Unbelievable finish.

The Chargers didn't think Ryan Leaf was useless when they drafted him, either, Anton. Besides, I was saying that for once Cassel had a decent game.

The difference between the Patriots and the Chargers of yesterday? The Patriots know what they are doing.

I just saw the Ellis Hobbs hit. He could be seriously hurt. It was right on the crown of his helmet. Please remember him in your prayers. It looks as if he can move his extremities. That's a good sign.
