I was just looking at Matt Cassel's stats, and the guy is having one heck of a season for being a quarterback who had fairly low expectations going into the season. He's only thrown 4 interceptions and lost 1 fumble. That's just 5 turnovers in 12 games, and he's also throwing at 60% with 23 TD's. I think he's one of the big reasons the Chiefs have a good chance at making the playoffs.

Matt Cassel is the reason the Chiefs are 8-4, and not 10-2. Stats mean nothing. He has no leadership qualities, chokes in the clutch, and makes incredibly stupid decisions with the ball. The reason he has so few turnovers is that no one can catch his passes, including the other team. He is just like another QB we used to have named Bill Kenney, who put up great numbers on paper, but in reality just sucked like a Hoover. Fortunately, he's surrounded by enough talent that KC can still win despite his incredible ineptness.

I suppose that Favre will be a game-time decision on whether he plays or not. I would like to see his consecutive start streak continue (although not if he's so injured that he can't play well; even though that would be a good thing from the Giants' perspective).

From the looks of things the Colts should have this game in the bag.

30-21, 2 minutes left. Titans could come back and win but I'm not betting on it.

30-28 the final score of the game. The Titans tried to come back but didn't have the time. Colts Win. Next Thursday Night's game: 49ers at Chargers.

I can't believe the Colts pulled that win out of their *butt*. I thought it was over for them because Manning seemed so off but I guess they pulled it together.

The Colts beat a soft Titans team. If the Colts do make the playoffs, they will be one and done.

If the Colts can get healthy then I don't think they will be a one and done. With Manning anything is possible. He may have had 3 losses in a row and 11 INT in the 3 games. He is the best QB in the league. At least half of the 11 INT was lack of chemistry between the recievers. Inexperience WR lead to wrong route or late breaks. If the WR can get 100% then watchout for the Colts because they can put up the points.

Guys, have you seen the class of teams the AFC has? Even Kansas City gave Indy fits when the Colts were in better shape than they are now. Patriots, Jets, Steelers, and Ravens. If the Colts make the playoffs, they will be playing one of those four teams. The Jets played like little girls on Monday, but that aside, what do those four teams have in common? A good defense. Manning will need more than his receiving crew to beat one of those teams.

The Colts seem to have slipped several notches. Chiefs have a tough game against the Chargers this week. If they win, they may get home field advantage for at least one playoff game.

They are expecting snow and 30-35 MPH winds with gusts up to 50 MPH in Chicago today for the Patriots-Bears game. That should be fun to watch. Also, Giants-Vikings game will be played in Detroit Monday night due to the collapse of the roof at the Metrodome.

It looks like the Metrodome collapsing is God's way of helping Brett Farve get another start. Not that it'll matter vs. the Giants who will likely end Farve's career anyway.

Looks like the Packers won't be winning out now. Although the Pats dismantling the Bears combined with the Bears playing the Jets and then the Packers with the last games of the season still gives the Packers a shot at the playoffs, assuming that Rodger's concussion isn't bad enough to keep him out of further games.

Ouch. The Pats kicked our behinds pretty bad. I didn't get the game here, but the I saw the highlights, and the weather made it kind of farcical times.

Well daver it looks like you should be happy. Cassel didn't play in the Chargers game. How did that turn out. Blown out 31 to nothing. Cassel may not be as good as his stats show but Croyle is awful. What is he now 0-10 as a starter? San Dieg still would have won with Cassel, but at least KC would have scored.
