Time for the Chiefs to finish pounding the nails into the Raiders' and Chargers' coffins. Go Big Red!

Daver, glad to see your Chiefs took the West.Though at the beggining of the season nobody saw this coming. And since my Broncos stunk it up so bad(thanks Josh McDaniels)I am glad to see K.C. take it.So tired of the Chargers dominating the West.Enjoy the party.

You can't think that way, daver. The party has only just begun. If you end up playing the Jets, I'll be hoping for KC. If you end up playing Baltimore, I'll be hoping for them since they were my pick to win it all this season. The Steelers? I'm indifferent.
I also hope my premonition of Atlanta winning the NFC doesn't come true. Go anybody who isn't Atlanta.

Don't know who we will be playing yet. Hard to believe there are so many possibilities left with only one week to go. Whoever it is, I'm fairly confident we'll win at Arrowhead; on the road, well, uh, anything's possible.

I believe the Chiefs will play the Jets, at least that's the most likely scenario right now. If we play them, we'll beat them handily. Would sure rather play the Jets than the Ravens.

Charlie Weis is leaving Kansas City and going to Florida. I have a feeling 2011 is going to be a very good year.

don't be so sure, daver. did you hear who's expected to replace Weis? Josh McDaniels. The former Denver coach. Who had almost no running game while he was there, and was throwing the ball a lot. With Kyle Orton. So, one can probably safely assume, that if McDaniels does indeed take over for Weis, Cassel will be throwing the ball more than he does now

Shudder! Today's game means nothing for the Chiefs, but what a great way to end the season - a rout of the Raiders. Go Chiefs!

Knotted up at 10-10 now, thanks to Jamaal Charles. Can anyone believe he wasn't selected as the starting RB in the Pro Bowl? Not only is he leading the league in rushing, but since he's paired in tandem with Thomas Jones, he's done it with about 60% of the carries he would have with most teams. Alas, it looks like the real Matt Cassel is back. Maybe they should send him in to have another operation.

Ouch Daver. That means KC will have to play Baltimore. At least you'll be at home. I do hope KC can throw a wrench in the AFC, but I have to stick with my preseason pick.

Wait a minute! I knew something was off. Indy can still lose and they will be the 4 seed.

What a revoltin' development. Yeah, I'd much rather face the Jets than the Ravens. But if Cassel plays like he did today, it won't matter. The guy needs 20 seconds to find a receiver. Losing to the Raiders. How humiliating.

daver, you sound surprised. Raiders went 6-0 in the AFC West. it was just playing outside the division that gave us problems. If they had been able to play a bit better against the rest of the league, we wouldn't be having this conversation, because the Raiders would be in the playoffs, not the Chiefs

Seubert just went out with a dislocated kneecap (further decimating the O-line) and then in the beginning of the third quarter Manning throws an 85-yard TD pass to Manningham :0

I normally don't watch KC, but I saw some of the game today. I don't think it's neccessarily Cassel's fault. KC's pass protection and o-line play isn't very good, and the talent at WR is only so-so. If KC can improve the talent level around him, he can succeed. Remember, he did pretty well when he played for the Pats. As important as the QB position is, no QB can do it alone.
