First game of the NFL preseason is played tonight! What a beautiful time of year :D. Any predictions for the season? Anybody else love to play fantasy football?

They did it! They are in the play offs!

I'm totally exhausted, frozen, and I might lose my voice tomorrow but it was worth it!

First time our school has made it to the play offs in 20 years.

Hope your monday wasn't too bad! I understand I work with a couple of Packer Backers, a Vikings and a Bears fan. I learned not to bet on games. Last year I had to wear a Packers jersey all day at work.

Chiefs +3 at Arrowhead against the Chargers? We should have beaten them at their stadium in Week 3. Like those odds, even with Cassel at QB.

Another Arrowhead miracle! No thanks to Matt Cassel, with his one fumble, two picks and stellar 69.9 QB rating. The Cheifs have to have the only fans who are more comfortable when the other team has the ball.

The Chargers are either the best bad team or the worst good team. I can't figure out which yet.

It's official. The dumbest idiot in the NFL is the Falcon coach. The Falcons had been doing pretty well holding the Saints. Does he know this? Yes, he does. But, what the Hell? Go ahead and give the Saints the ball in field goal range. Why not?

I agree, Anton. Who in their right mind would go for it on 4th down on their own 29...in OT? I'd have called for a punt!

When I saw them line up, I just assumed they would try and draw them offsides, but nope. I still can't believe that call.

I think Tim Tebow should be the new Dos Equis spokesman, the most interesting man in professional football.

The Sunday night game was better than I expected. Collinsworth just KILLED Dwayne Bowe. I STILL don't understand why they didn't call a timeout with about a 1:10 left. They should have gone for it on 4th and 2 earlier in the 4th quarter. The Chiefs offense is pretty bad. LOVE the PK's name (Ryan Succop) though! I laughed every time. I hope he has a looong career!

Tyler Palko: no Tds, three INTs, one lost fumble. 40.9 rating. Yes, it's true. Tyler Palko is Matt Cassel's illegitimate son.

Gads! Someone get KC a new first string QB so daver will leave Cassel be. :^) Will he be the starter next year daver?

Afraid so, unless that bum we picked up from Denver, Orton, proves he can play. I'm not asking for Joe Montana, just some guy who can hand off the ball to our running backs without fumbling, and hit the tight end with a short pass once in a while. Our defense played so well against the Steelers last night. But you can't win when your offense turns the ball over every time they touch it.

Kyle Orton's not bad. He's not particularly physically talented, but he's generally mistake-free. He's a much better game manager than the other guys they've had at QB this year.

Better than Caleb Hanie for sure!

I live in Jacksonville, Fl. Most of you know that I'm a Vikings fan, but I was somewhat perturbed at ESPN yesterday, when they devoted the first NINE minutes of the broadcast at the top of the hour to the 2 game suspension of Ndamukong Suh, 'after' the news was released that the Jaguars were sold and that del Rio was fired, Come on! It's a live broadcast show. 9 minutes devoted to an idiot before announcing the sale of a team and the firing of the head coach? A pouty big bully-baby isn't that important.

Jaguars? Please don't come to LA.

I hope they stay in Jacksonville as well. I like the idea that L.A. doesn't have a NFL team. It's been cracking me up for years.

We don't need an NFL team. We already have a pro team in USC.

Kind of like that 'pro' team in Idaho?

I'm watching the Chiefs and Bears (try) to play football. It's painful. Could the Bears really be worse than the Chiefs?!
