I think the Chiefs will get it together and at least be an average team. They're not too bad at any position but the all-important QB spot. I guess their defense looked pretty weak but they'll improve.

A pick six for Major Wright. That might be the ballgame. 20-6 lead for Da Bears!

Great comeback for the Chiefs just now. They were down 24-6, and they win it in OT 27-24. Dolphins and Jets are still in OT. Come on Jets!

I officially have stopped caring. I've waited 20 years for the Redskins to win. They've proven they cannot do that without Joe Gibbs. They have the fewest playoff appearances (3) of any NFL team in since 1993 and two of those were when Gibbs came back from 04-07. When the defense is decent the offense is terrible and vice versa. It NEVER changes. I mean, I really didn't expect them to any better than average this year but I can see they won't even come close to that.

Well, Joe Gibbs was extraordinary, and Jack Kent Cooke ran a great organization. They also were so good at picking up key veteran free agents. Bobby Beathard was a great GM.

I'm going to watch the football game rather than the Emmys. Pats/Ravens. Lots good, old-fashioned red-blooded American violence! lol

You're absolutely right about Gibbs, Cooke and Beathard. I guess I got a little spoiled growing up with that kind of leadership.

What a great moment for Torrey Smith. A great TD catch on the day his younger brother died. Thoughts and prayers to him and his loved ones.

Yeah, I can see it. He can't do it by himself though. The team is weak almost everywhere else and they spent some top picks to get him and their track record on free agent signings, pretty much since Beathard left has been awful.

I've just got to jump in here and say I do think the Skins look better than they have in years...although I do not know why they got rid of Cooley...as for the Jets, as long as they are smart and don't start Tebow, I think they have a chance also...my Broncos have stunk since Elway retired and I really don't think Peyton will be able to get it done...but I would love to have him surprise me:)

Belichick is going to be in DEEP trouble! He grabbed that ref's arm! $10K? Maybe more? That was one crazy game. That made for some GREAT TV!

Watching Belichik's presser. How does he NOT think he won't get fined? I will say this. The replacement refs HAVE to go! Pronto.

The Vikings pull off the huge upset. As much as I am a Vikings fan...I know them...next week is Detroit and my guess is a let down game. I hope I'm wrong.

Yes the refs were terrible, once again. The criticism is only going to get worse and worse.

My Vikes looked pretty good. Ponder is doing quite well so far this year.

Ponder has done well...been impressed so far. He gets Jerome Simpson back this week too, and those two seemed to have a bit of a connection in preseason. Michael Jenkins can't catch a pass to save his life, so hopefully Simpson will be a good #2 to Harvin and defenses will have to pay attention to both of them. Simpson will also help extend the field for Peterson to get a little more running room too. Hopefully Simpson isn't too rusty right away.
