You mean "our vikings" boxjaw? :P It may not seem like it, but I'm a Vikings fan born and raised. I just am so used to the "let down" that I have very little confidence. It's sad to say but the only team I don't expect a let down from nearly every year is the Lynx (and that's only recently). :D

I'm sorry. "Our Vikings". Hey, I live in Jacksonville, FL. We're a rare breed down here my friend. On a slight side note. We can boast a couple of down to the wire Fall Classic victories.
Nice win in the knockout yesterday pyonir. :^P

When I lived in Arizona it was lonely as a Vikings fan too, so I know how you feel. We did end up finding a "Vikings bar" to watch the games at though, so that was good. The Lynx move on to the conference finals after the win last night btw. :P
And thank you...opponent. lol

NFC East, no surprise that it's up for grabs so far. Once again 8-8 or 9-7 might win this division.

And the Cardinals finally fall. What a boring game to watch though. That O-line is horrendous for the Cards...I knew it was bad from preseason, but they seemed to be doing alright. Kolb missed a lot of reads tonight too, that might have helped him. The NFC West looks to be a mess again this year.

I would've started raising an eyebrow if the Cardinals at least played well but that's definitely a house of Cards there. No wild card from that division, or no good one anyway.

Year after year every team has a kicker who's made 346576 field goals in a row. Every team but the Redskins, that is. Every year we have kicker problems...EVERY YEAR! We have Billy CunDRIFT. Last week he missed three (31,41 and 57). Today he missed another 31 yarder. I sure hope he knows how to flip burgers.

How bad is Matt Cassel? Leads the league in turnovers. Can't make big plays. That guy is a bum with a capital "B." I hate Matt Cassel.

RG III knocked out of the game with a possible concussion. Kirk Cousins comes in and throws a 77 yard TD to Santana Moss. HTTR!

And then...he throws two interceptions and we lose. Not quite as aggravated with this loss, at least it was a good team this time. What is disturbing though is that we've now lost 8 straight home games.

For the DC fans sake I hope RGIII isn't out for more. Well, he could miss next week too (against the Vikes). :P
The Vikings looked good again today, although not too hard against the Titans. Ponder finally threw his first pick of the year (and added a second one), but still played well.
Pretty impressive record for Brees tonight...48 consecutive games throwing a TD pass. They used to say that Unitas' record was untouchable. Guess not. Peyton Manning is at 38 too.

Much as I hate Matt Cassel, I thought the fans booing when he got hurt was uncalled for. Just can't figure why everyone in the whole world except the Kansas City coaching staff knows he can't play quarterback worth a darn.

Daver the Chiefs paid a lot of money to him and probably would take a cap hit if they cut him.

It's not like Brady Quinn is going to be any better either. Who's the 3rd string there? The cheering for an injury was disgusting, I have to agree.

Quinn could not be worse than Cassel. Their third QB is Ricky Stanzi, who played college ball at Iowa. It was bad of the fans to cheer Cassel getting hurt, but it just goes to show you how much he is absolutely loathed in Kansas City - and with good reason. The man has been an absolute disaster for the Chiefs. Maybe they can get Brodie Croyle back.

Seems like Bowe and Jamaal Charles are wasted talent there.

Saying Quinn is better than Cassel isn't saying much. lol. At this point, I'd think Stanzi is a better option, or see who's still sitting on the couch looking for another shot. Brett Favre is better than any of those three, today. I do agree that Bowe and Charles are wasted in KC though. The defense is pretty good too (the injury bug jumped up there too though).
I guess it could always be worse...you could be a Browns fan. I saw today that Brandon Weeden has the lowest rating of a starting QB in the league. Yep, worse than Cassel.

Road teams continue to struggle on Thursday night games...and numerous injuries as well. I know the players hate the games that quickly.
