Hold your horses, callie_ross.
I made a comment. It was not directed at anyone. It was a continuation of a discussion which was on-going prior to your post.
Frankly, I hadn't read your comments until after I posted.
I am waiting for an apology from you.

Don't hold your breath,Daymare.
I seem to remember a similar situation on the "Favourite Breed Of Dogs" thread not too long ago.

Oh. Thanks, REDVIKING57.
I understand a lot of people like Russell Brand. So, I shall be careful what I state...
does he ever comb his hair or is the "I just got out of bed look" back in style? If so, it would save me so much time in the morning.... :)
On second thought....that would be even scarier...lol

Callie, it was not my intention to upset you. I simply stated what I thought was a valid point of view in a calm and neutral manner.
You will note that in my very first comment I said “One of the celebrities mentioned in this thread is my cousin. I won't say who, because it would make the person who posted it feel terrible.” I could have easily named and “attacked” the original poster, but I didn’t. I simply tried to offer some “food for thought” about the topic.
We are all entitled to our own opinion and it is okay to disagree. It would be a very dull chatroom if we all thought and felt exactly the same way about things. What makes the difference is how you express those views.
As a general comment, and this is not aimed at anyone in particular, if you can’t handle someone having a different opinion to yourself, and you object to them expressing their point of view in a rational manner, then perhaps the chatrooms are not the place for you to be.

Mothergoose:From my point of view, it seemed like your comments may have been directed at me since I'm the unfortunate person who made this thread. Maybe you weren't speaking to me at all, but it just seemed like it. Having different opinions is fine & I don't have a problem with it at all. It's just when people get their Irish up about something I've said or done that upsets me & it happens a lot on this site. People always bring up that difference of opinion thing & say we should respect other people's opinions, but it seems like very few people respect MINE. I'm not referring to you at all when I say this because I've never had a problem with you at all, in fact I have agreed with your comments more than once. There's a few other people on here (no names mentioned) who seem to have a problem with me just because they don't like my opinions & I'm sick of it. Maybe I was a little defensive, but you would be if you were in my place, I would think. I'm sorry for any misunderstanding & thanks for trying to clear it up. It's easy to get things mixed up when posting in a forum because you don't know exactly how people mean for their statements to come across. Since you can't hear their tone of voice or see their facial expressions, then things can get a little confusing at times.

Daymare: I wasn't sure who you were speaking to or about, so that is why I said IF you were taking a dig at me. I didn't say you were for certain. Now that you've explained, I apologize for the misunderstanding. Like I said to Mothergoose just a minute ago, things are easily mixed up & taken wrong on the internet.

Redviking: How wrong you are! You don't know me or what I will & won't do, so don't assume that you do! You know what they say about assuming, don't you? I try to respect everyone's opinion on here even if they don't return the same courtesy to me.

Oh my goodness, I leave you alone for five minutes, and look what happens!
I hadn't heard the phrase "get your irish up" before, but I looked it up, and it seems to mean the same as get your dander up. Never let it be said that FT isn't educational.

Nearly all of the so-called "reality" stars. That pretty much covers E!, MTV, and those type channels/programming/people completely.

Most of them annoy the hell out of me. Most of them have no discernible talent, they have more money than me and they get to voice their opinions however stupid and annoying they may be.
