None of the foregoing.
Only the lead male is a really well known actor.

Merlinewbie, you're correct, again!
Have you seen Harry Brown? I thought it was super (but I didn't believe the "Stretch" actor was a real person.)

Haven't seen it - it's on my list to see.
My film is a 70s sports film.

Daver's right - it's Slap Shot. It uncovers the world of an obscure North American sport called "Ice Hockey". It's a bit like proper hockey, but there are no rules and everyone just bashes into their opponents. Seems a bit anarchic but a lot of fun!
What's your movie Daver?

Okay. American film, released in the 21st century. Hard to classify; you might call it a romantic comedy-drama.

If you know anything at all about ice hockey, Slapshot is QUITE funny as an over-the-top "parody" of the sport. You sorta "had to have been there" though lol
Haven't a clue what daver is up to today, but I'll guess "A Family Man" with Nick Cage.

O, my bad as the young people say, I thought Slap Shot was a docudrama.
Are any of the main cast of Friends in the film?

No Friends, no Cage, no Family Men. American film, but lots of Brits in the cast, doesn't take place in the U.S.
