Other than "weird", I guess you could call it "suspenseful". There's a police investigation about a severed body part, a double kidnapping, a few shootings, some extremely unsavoury characters and some disturbing scenes. Considered a cult neo-noir film. 4 years later the "hero" from this movie starred in an equally strange tv series created by the same director.
