None of the above, after 1940, Judy Garland wasn't there, not a musicial (although the closing theme was used in a long running childrens TV show). Someone from my previous movie was also in in this one.

I meant someone from the previous movie I posted, sorry if I confused anyone. Also, time has not been kind to this movie in the eyes of critics. It's not as well thought of as it was when it first came out.

Come to think of it, it could be considered somewhat of a musical, there were songs in it, but mostly a drama. Sorry, I just hate giving incorrect info.

You Got it, Jake. Think I was pushing that one a bit, never know if I'm giving too much or too little info, it's a fine line sometimes.
The closing theme song was used for WGN-TV Chicago's The Bozo show for over 25 years.
Steven Spielberg said it was the first movie he saw & was greatly influenced by the train wreck scene. If anyone remembers seeing an early scene in his War Of The Worlds that train wreck is shown on the TV while the kids are switching channels.
You're on the clock Jake.

Well I'm not sure your clues were all that obvious. I was just going with Heston movies lol. I confess I haven't seen the circus movie in well over 30 years and had no idea what the closing song might have been. But I did remember the William Tell Overture being played in it, so was hoping you were talking about The Lone Ranger tv series LOL! Oh well.
Next is an American romantic comedy released after 1980. Nominated for a few Oscars.
