It is 22 degrees and I should have picked the rest of my citrus because they probably won't be any good now. Luckily we gave away most of them on Sunday so it won't be a real loss.

You know what I hate? I hate hearing the news say that there will be heavy snows today and then not see a flake of white coming from the sky while the patches of snow on the ground melt away....

Especially when you got up half an hour early to make up for the time you'd lose if the roads were slick. You wake up, half an hour early, and the roads are as dry as your feet in the winter...
The temperature... Indoors, about 60 degrees, and I'm freezing. Outdoors, too cold to even think about what it might be, and I'm glad I'm indoors.

I assume that you are talking in Fahrenheit - for us 50 would be a cool change. We had 35 today but that is 35C - Celsius - which is around 95F. We have Australia Day coming up on Thursday 26th and the long range forecast is for 38C which is around 102F. Not looking forward to that.

Except for a few days when it was just bitterly cold, this has been a mild winter so far, much warmer than last year. I just checked, and our temperature is 35F, or about 1.6C, which is a bit warmer than "normal" for this time of the year. We often get our worst winter weather in February, or even March, though, so we're not out of the woods yet.

Well now they have revised their forecast and now tell us Australia Day here in Western Australia will be 42C, that approximately 108F - That air conditioner is going to be working overtime I think.

like Agony, my weather was quite horrid last week. Zoe the Cat kept demanding to stick her nose out the door, so I finally opened it for her. She gave me a look like you wouldn't believe LOL. This week, however, temps are above normal (a 35 degree turn-around as a matter of fact - and not one I mind acclimatising to LOL).

Yeah, it's gorgeous, isn't it, Jake? Even with last week's dreadful weather, this has been the easiest winter I can remember.

Sixty plus degrees of balmy sunshine in Nebraska! There is snow predicted for Friday or Saturday. It was a good day to get groceries!

Horrid icy chill - a few degrees above freezing during the day, and below zero at night. Cold nose. :(

So sorry to hear that, Lesley. I despise cold weather. It's just the opposite here...67 degrees today.
