Hooray hooray, it's minus 0.4 C which would be somewhere around 33 F. No wind. Life is good.

Our daily and overnight temps are in the single digits or in the very low double digits nowadays, both on the plus and minus side (today it was 0 degrees Celsius and overnight it will be -11 degrees C). However, a major snowstorm is about to engulf southern Manitoba and while Winnipeg, where I live, is on the edge of this event we are still expecting up to 15cm! March, which came in like a lion doesn't seem to be at all inclined to go out like a lamb!

Last Friday was freezing and had a heavy frost overnight, today was the first of the year I didn't have to do my coat up. Not sure of the temperature but would reckon about 15C.

Sat, I didn't do my coat up today either, but it was plus 2 C. Guess it's all in what you are used to.

The threatened snowstorm didn't happen, praise the Lord. It stayed in North Dakota and we didn't get any of it. Spring is definitely in the air. The roads are down to concrete and tarmac, and the accumulated snow is receding from boulevards, medians and lawns.
Now all we have to worry about is the possibility of a spring flood! Most of Manitoba sits on the bed of an ancient sea (Lake Winnipeg and Lake Manitoba are the remnants of the prehistoric Agassiz Sea) so we are prone to floods. Winnipeg is protected by a floodway that draws the water of the overflowing Red and Assiniboine rivers but the rural areas are seriously affected.

-4C, but the wind before the blizzard made it feel more like -20. As I left home, there was not a snowflake in sight. In ten minutes there was nothing else in sight because of the heavy snowfall :)

It's -7.5, -16 with the wind chill. Freezing. I just took the dogs for a walk, and couldn't get home fast enough.

36F, but feels a lot colder due to the wind chill. Snow flurries today, and more snow called for tomorrow.

It's been getting up to near or over freezing for the last week, but barely making a dent in the accumulated snow. Snow is still knee deep in the open and very deep indeed in drifts. Today it's about minus 6 C but with bitter winds, so not really a nice day. At this rate it's at least a month before my basement starts flooding, so thank goodness for small mercies.
