Bitterly cold here today; not the temperature, but the wind chill. Feels like a Chicago winter.

After posting that, I noticed the post right above mine. I guess it all depends on your point of view, eh?

And, around here, it's a dry cold.

It's funny... Here in Colorado, we have temperature that changes so much. Below 0 F, 80F the next day. ;)

We have friends from California who live in Colorado now. They wear jackets when it's 70F outside, because it's too "cold" for them. We're all dying in shorts and t-shirts, they have sweats and coats.

Alternately, a friend from Montana was visiting, and it was 30 degrees, we're in our coats and such, and she comes on out with shorts and a t-shirt.

Point of view, and what you're used to, make a huge difference. :P Living in Colorado, I'm accustomed to most any weather. Not saying I LIKE the cold OR the heat, but I can live in both comfortably because I am used to it all. :P

Greatguggly Thats definitely true about Colorado. Last time I was there was in Denver in January of '96 or '97. It was surprisingly warm the first couple days we were there and then on the last day a blizzard blew in and the temperature plummeted from around 65 to the 20s.

It´s a freezing January here in Czech Rep - January as it should be. Icy, slippery, foggy - a warm fireplace, tea and TV at home.

Chicago! Yesterday it snowed, then it sleeted, then it froze and everything was covered in ice. This morning it was all melted, and heading for the 50s today, 40s tonight. 60s tomorrow. Snow on Wednesday, back down to the teens on Thursday and Friday...
