Believe it or not we woke up to thunder and rain and a much cooler day that can be expected in the San Joaquin valley on July 31. The whole month has been so much cooler than any July I can remember. We did have a few days over 100 but not many.

Its still in the high 90s and low 100s in Southeast New Mexico. Its so dry the trees are whistling for the dogs. If anyone has rain to share please send it on to us and Texas!

It's Saturday morning and 71 degrees F. in Nebraska, USA.
We had such a heat index problem this summer. For too many days the heat index was over 100 degrees F. I am so glad it is cooler now. We have garden food because of heat and rain.
