Subject: Fatal Bus crash

Earlier tonight the Bus was involved in a fatal bus crash on its way to the Federated States of Micronesia, the driver S. Erver was killed and many of the passengers were injured some seriously and may not be able to carry on with the bus ride. Funtrivia who are orgainsing the bus trip are trying to arrange a replacement bus and driver as soon as they can.

The old reply to thread function was removed because it got to the point where people weren't even reading the announcements and assuming, by default, that they were somehow being wronged or forgotten or insulted or abused or cheated out of something in some manner.

Actually, it had reached the Federated States of Micronesia (I visited there shortly after it arrived) before something went tragically wrong. You will notice that it is not only the current Bus Ride quiz that you cannot access - new quizzes are also unavailable, and possibly all quizzes! Administrators are aware of the issue, and attempting to do something about it. The Bus will be back on track ASAP.

The new driver's name is Curt E.S. Driver and his occasional replacement is some fellow named Otto B. Asher.
