We can only get candy like that in a small store in Estes Park unless we buy it online. In the store it's more than a penny each.

| Coconut tobacco- do they still make that? I haven't looked for Black Jacks or Fruit Salad for ages, but used to get a mixed bag most weeks from Whitlings at the top of my road, an old German couple, and they were four for a penny then as well. My teeth would probably not cope with them now as too much construction work. |

Your right Red - It was 4 to the penny. Such a long time ago, I forgot.
It's my 50th birthday at the end of August. There you go wasn't trying to be younger than I am!

David, you'd be surprised what you can still get. There's a lot of online "retro" sweets,

and an olde sweete shoppe has just opened up in Bedford.
If you don't like sweet things, and prefer to smoke your coconut, you can get coconut-flavoured cigarette papers. Nice.
