I got one
how old was Barack Obama at Hillary clinton's choosing to allow him to run his political party for top man of that country with fifty parts?
forty-six
fortx-four
forty-two
fifty
Obama soon won that picking of top man. Obama had to surpass John McCain, and that man did.

I would rate that question poor - which helps make it clear why Matthew is having so much trouble with his idea. Not only is the language convoluted and almost unintelligible, but the answer choices are numbers that are so close together it is virtually impossible to make a reasnoed guess - you have to know his age at some ill-defined moment of time.
Maybe you could set up the quiz so that each question has a vowel missing, but not always the same one? Just a thought.

Matthew, how about this for your 'E'less quiz.
Which jazz musician was commonly known as 'Satchmo'?
Louis Armstrong
Max Roach
Cab Calloway
Frank Sinatra
Interesting info could be tricky considering he played trumpet.
I think you've set yourself a very big challenge and I hope you succeed.

Thank you all for the input. Now I have five questions done. :) Five more to go. Aussiedrogo, how about this for the interesting information?
Louis Armstrong was born in Louisiana on August 4, 1901. His was known for his famous songs, such as "Stardust", "April in Paris" and "That Lucky Old Sun".
Boring stuff, and somewhat irrelevant to the question, but that's the best I can do, lol.

There are lots of proverbs which don't have 'e' in them. You could put one in humanities on the lines of 'Which saying is synonymous to .......'.

I am planning to create a quiz where each question has the word 'amazing' in it. So far I have got five categories covered.
Music: Amazing Grace
Movies: The Amazing Spider-Man movie
Television: The Amazing Race TV series
Humanities: Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat
Literature: The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay
I am looking for five more questions, preferably in other categories. I am wondering if there're some popular nicknames like "amazing something" given to a particular person or place. Those will fit well for Person and Geography. If I can't find more popular names with the word 'amazing' in it, perhaps I will go for more general type of 'amazing' words, like water is being called an amazing substance.
Thanks for your help. :)

For Children (Books for Kids) - there are quite a few titles with Amazing in their title, such as Janet Pedersen's 'Houdini the Amazing Caterpillar'.

How about the famous magician and debunker The Amazing Randy? He might fit in celebrities, people, or entertainment ;)

Hope you don't mind if I resurrect this as I need a little tip to help finish a question.
I'm looking for a food that is a vegetable or fruit (or is based on either of the two) and that sounds like meat or a meat-based food. The food in question cannot contain any meat.
Thanks in advance.
