Hey guys, just a spur of the moment request.

Over the next day or two, it'd be great to see some more single question submissions. Would some of you mind submitting two? It can be any category.

Remember to try and make them palatable for an international audience and not to make them too hard or two easy. We want to avoid making them super obscure. It may be hard to think of something that hasn't been asked before, but I guess that's part of it. :p

This isn't a challenge or anything- just a random option for those who have a few minutes to spare. Post if you've made a contribution. :)

You don't seem to be in the TV queue-- it could be anything from accidentally not hitting a final submit button to an odd disappearing act. Unfortunately, we don't have a way to access the single questions unless they're in the queue. :s

Vegemite, an editor also theoretically has the option to delete a question without any comment, but that would only be done if the effort does not even resemble a question (i.e. VERY VERY rarely). Did you check these questions after submission? If they accidentally came through blank or with vital parts missing, they might have been discarded.

Thanks Kyle and Wesley, I appreciate you looking into it for me.

Yes, they were in the queue at some stage, as I had been keeping an eye on them. I'll make sure from now on that I keep a copy for future reference!

Is the Sprint keeping the Geography editors overworked? I've had three Geography questions in the single question queue for a while now...probably less time then it seems like, but it's been a while...and in the meantime other questions have been approved. But, the Geography questions are sitting there forlornly...

Nope. There are no Sprint quizzes in Geography this round (at least not thus far). The Geography single question queue just happens to be the busiest one.

Thanks, Kyle. I'll remember not to submit any Geography questions for awhile. (Unfortunately that's the topic in which I have the most questions to submit...but I've got other topics, too, so it will be okay.)

Submitting new questions and getting them approved is one thing, but when they actually get posted in the New Question game is a mystery. It has been several weeks since I've seen any of mine there.

Looking at the backlog of questions-to-be-rated, it's probably a month or two wait from acceptance time to them appearing in the new question game right now. The entire system is automated, and questions go through in a very orderly fashion, in the order in which they are received.

Don't let that discourage you though. They'll get there eventually :)
