I know this sounds silly, but I can't get the Achievement: Mixed Game badge. I got angry just now after scoring 10/10 in 97 seconds, which is my best. I don't know, I guess a lot of these movie, TV, etc. questions are always tripping me up.

I have reached level 100 after two years of FT. The mini badges at this level are somewhat a mystery yet. Any clue to how these work?

MyGirl, do you mean the Centurion Conundrum? The other Level 100 mini-badges are pretty self-explanatory.
As to the conundrum, it was one of my favourites. I recommend you record carefully what games you play and when, and check back frequently to see what changes. You should notice some patterns pretty quickly.

Start with the easy mixed difficult expert daily hourly quizzes. Attempt all daily challenges. Play daily if possible. Upgrade for variety Join a team. Participate. The friends will come and the badges will too. In your second six months write questions and than quizzes. Give something back. Enjoy.

The hardest badges for me, currently, are all of them. Whichever I do not have currently, are tricky. I haven't won a badge in so long... The remaining badges are very long term badges (though I'm finally close to a few of them), or near impossible for me that I will never get.
Oh well, even though I will be stuck for a long time when it comes to badge earning, I still have loads of fun and keep playing. :)

You do have a few badges that I really do covet though Salami, the Daily Game Champ and Impossible badges have long been but a distant dream for me!
I managed to somehow get Three Keys yesterday, only because two other kind souls appear to have matched my early posted score though! I had previously thought that to be difficult.
Most difficult for me at the moment would be the monthly badges. No way I can play enough times to get those (and i'm not good enough to get them with few plays).
Immortal seems very difficult as I can never bring myself to log on in the morning before work to guarantee playing 2 sets per day... so I've not even got the achievement badge.

The Word Weaver badge is driving me nuts. I just can't seem to pull the letters together to get an eleven letter word.
I just keep getting the same letters over and over. I'd pull my hair out if I had any.

Word Weaver eluded me also when I had Gold status before, now I have regained the Gold I've decided to try to get Word Alchemy first... no problems getting 4 letter words!

The monthly badges are probably going to drive me nuts. I have the one for Mind Melt mostly because I love the game so much that I played every day without fail and it was something I only had to play once a day. I desperately want the Word Wizard monthly to go with it, but I just don't see it happening.

It depends if you talk too much!
I got mine 7 months into joining. :D
But I find any badge that involves speed will always be beyond me, which is fine. I still have a couple of badges that Salami The Speedy doesn't. That's how it works best I think, in a lot of cases it depends on the individual as to which badges are hard to obtain.
