I think that the treasure hunt is one of the most difficult badges as is very vague.

The treasure hunt is only vague until you collect all the clues. It was one of the most enjoyable challenges I have done on FT, and I wish there was a sequel to complete right now.

There's actually been a bit of a drought since the last wins of the Treasure Hunter badge. Mariamir and myself we the last two winners. I found the treasure chest on Aug 11, and she found it on Aug 18. It's been well over a month since then and no new winners...

The Riddle badgelet and the Treasure Hunt badge have stumped me. Going to give up and come back to it in a year or so. Also, if a badge seems difficult, don't worry, it'll come to you as you become more experienced with the site. I've gotten a few badges unexpectedly. For example, in a Fill in the Blank game, my first time I played I got about 4 correct. I started playing some other quizzes, and when I went to check my mail it said, "You have earned 'Fill in the Blank'! It is awarded to the top player in his/her division who does not already have this badge." So I went to check the hour's final scores, and I scored #6. Apparently the top 5 already had the badge, so I got it instead. I also got my AC/DC expert win by luck; I guessed 7 questions correct and managed to get #1 somehow. I slapped myself in the face when I saw the mail that said, "You have won 'I Am the Expert!'".

I think that "Epic Challenge" thing is going to be impossible. I doubt anyone ever wins it, unless the epic challenges start showing up with greater frequency than they have so far.

just about all of the timed badges seem to be out of reach. The lower times, my fingers don't work that fast.

I have still not been able to win Word Weaver, even though I play Word Wizard a lot and get a letter almost every time. So, for me, that's one of the toughest badges.

As Kaddars said, the treasure hunt is only a bother until you get the necessary clues. For me, I'd say the most difficult is the codebreaker and any monthly.

Treasure Hunt. I've tried to keep up with collecting clues, but I always forget. I guess I'm not committed enough. And that riddle!!! Maybe my mind doesn't work that way. I don't have a clue how to begin.

Now that I got my QQ2 badge, the centurion conundrum is kind of annoying. I had one day where I had somehow met the first 6 conditions. Next day, I had somehow met the last four conditions. I tried to figure out what I did the day before and combine them, to no avail.
I only definitively know what two of the conditions are.

My next badge is always the most difficult one and the more I acquire the hardest it is to get a new one. Must have worn out my brain. lol

For me, it's the New Question Achievement and I just figured it would probably take me 2 more years to get the Mind Melt Mastery badge with the way points are. I don't understand why we don't get 20 points for low scores like the rest of the Daily games, especially for 30 questions!
