I think album covers aren't what they used to be. Since the demise of the L.P. anyway. What are some of your favorite covers.

The Led Zeppelin III album was interesting with the kaleidoscope effect and Yes albums were always groovy with their fantasy covers by Roger Dean.

Led Zeppelin's "Physical Graffiti" cover is good too. Only with the L.P. could you get the result of interchanging window illustrations though.

I always thought the spaceship guitars from Boston's debut album was the coolest thing. All their album covers are cool.

Johnnycat: I have the first Boston picture album....features that wild spaceship inmprinted in the vinyl, and it's unopened. I love this art, too; looking to sell this collector's edition, but don't know where to start the pricing on Ebay. Any suggestions?

Joanna Newsom- the cover for her 'Ys' album is so amazing; it is a Medieval-style painting which consists of her and many objects that could be associated with those times. Also a very accurate representation of her music.

Fleet Foxes- Fleet Foxes. It isn't a pretty picture (like it looks like at first), there are some weird things happening in it.

I really like the incongruity of the man in flames shaking hands with another suited man on the cover of "Wish You Were Here" (Pink Floyd)
