Hello FTers. I'll be showing my face on TV Monday after next (Aug 29th). I'll be one of four members representing Manchester Uni on University Challenge. BBC2 8pm. :)

The old reply to thread function was removed because it got to the point where people weren't even reading the announcements and assuming, by default, that they were somehow being wronged or forgotten or insulted or abused or cheated out of something in some manner.

If I remember correctly I was doing the head-sitting. Since the show is filmed in Manchester we were playing on home ground. Our opponents came all the way from Cambridge.

Thanks Acorn :). Someone will occasionally upload an episode onto Youtube, but it doesn't look like anybody's done that with the episodes which have been broadcast so far. There is a site which does a pretty thorough write-up of each episode. If any non-Brit FTers are interested I'll post a link to the site after the episode has been broadcast.
