Those tiny ants are the worst. Absolutely harmless, but a real nuisance because there are always so many of them. Generally they crawl out from a ceiling or loft area. Best thing is to get someone up there if you a host of them, a spray of something nasty gets rid of them.
Acutally, sounds like somehting that might be in one of your future stories. :)
